Tian Yu arrived at the Crown Prince's palace gates and saw a row of palace maids and eunuchs kneeling outside, all too frightened to look up. She sighed, lifted her skirt, and entered the room. The room was also filled with kneeling eunuchs and palace maids. The Crown Prince was sitting at his desk, reading memorials and drinking tea. Seeing Tian Yu, he merely raised an eyebrow, glanced at her, and then returned his gaze to the memorials in his hands, coldly saying, "Is this the kind of behavior you expect from the Crown Princess when she comes to see me?"

Tian Yu looked at her clothes and thought they were very nice. She had even specially chosen a clean and tidy outer garment to wear. However, her hair was not carefully styled because she had already gone to bed, so she just tied it up with a rope. Tian Yu smiled and said, "I had just gone to bed when I heard that the Crown Prince had summoned me. I didn't dare to delay and rushed over. Please forgive me if I am not proper."

"You still have the mood to sleep?"

"What else would you do if you weren't sleeping at night?"

"All of you, get out of here!" the Crown Prince shouted impatiently to the palace servants.

Tian Yu was a little nervous. There were only the two of them left in the room. This prince was not a good person to begin with. Seeing that no one was around, Tian Yu stood still and dared not move, for fear of angering him.

After the tea was brewed, Tian Yu carefully carried the tray of tea to the Crown Prince. The Crown Prince then picked up the tea and drank it with satisfaction. Tian Yu smiled and asked, "How is it?"

The Crown Prince glanced at Tian Yu but said nothing. Tian Yu dared not say anything more and could only stand there with the Crown Prince. Being pregnant, she felt uncomfortable all over after standing for a short while. Unable to stand any longer, Tian Yu cautiously asked, "If Your Highness has nothing else to say, I will go back now."

"What? You want to go back so soon?"

"No, I feel a little unwell." Tian Yu said, her face turning pale, and she plopped down on the ground.

Upon seeing Tian Yu like this, the Crown Prince was startled and stood up to ask, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing, I just feel a little unwell, I'll be fine after a rest." Tian Yu said, leaning against the Crown Prince's desk and panting heavily.

The Crown Prince was angry and wanted her to move away from his table. It was clear that Tian Yu was really upset. He angrily shouted to the eunuchs outside, "Someone, quickly send the Crown Princess back."

Upon seeing Tian Yu's condition, the eunuch who entered quickly instructed several palace maids to help her out. As soon as Tian Yu left, the Crown Prince summoned the maids to clean the entire place, his inner conflict intensifying.

The next day, Tian Yu slept until very late. Li Xingyun came to check on her and asked if she had miscarried. Tian Yu didn't want him to worry, so she smiled and said, "No, I was probably just tired yesterday, so I went to sleep as soon as I got back."

"You need to get more rest and not stay up late all the time."

Since that day, Tian Yu went to the Crown Prince's place for tea almost every night. The Crown Prince did not make things difficult for her. "The war in the north has been quelled, but the Marquis of Zhenbei insists on staying to guard the north." After the Crown Prince finished speaking, he glanced sideways at Tian Yu.

Tian Yu stood to the side without any change in expression. The Crown Prince smiled and continued, "This Miss Cui insists on going to the northern frontier to find him. Do you think Father Emperor will grant her permission?"

"The women of the inner palace must not interfere in politics," Tian Yu said calmly.

"Alright, how about the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess have a chat?"

"What does the Crown Prince want to say?"

The Crown Prince smiled and looked at Tian Yu's belly. He then had a eunuch bring a chair for Tian Yu to sit down before saying, "We've been married for some time now. How have you been these past few days?"

"very good."

"Then why are you taking me with you, Your Highness?"

"Maintain respect."

Is it just respect?

Tian Yu moved her eyes and said, "And reverence."
