In the end, Tangyuan was too hungry to walk any further, so he ate a bowl of wontons by himself at a street stall. Tian Yu planned to take Tangyuan back to the clinic, but Tangyuan stubbornly refused, crying and insisting on going back with Zhao Moyan. Helpless, Tian Yu had no choice but to go with him to Hongyuan. Standing in front of Hongyuan, Tian Yu sighed, having come all this way. Seeing that Tangyuan was already asleep in Zhao Moyan's arms, Tian Yu said, "Maybe I should take him back!"

"It's not too late to go back after he wakes up," Zhao Moyan said.

"Then I'll go back first and come back to pick him up later," Tian Yu said, turning to leave.

"If Tangyuan wakes up and can't see you, she'll definitely be sad." Zhao Moyan said and went inside without waiting for Tian Yu. Tian Yu thought of Tangyuan's unhappy little face and could only follow.

The green willows and autumn chrysanthemums in the east courtyard were still there. They immediately went to greet Tian Yu when she returned. Zhao Moyan put Tangyuan on the bed, and Tian Yu covered her with the quilt. Then, he closed the door with Zhao Moyan and went into Tian Yu's room. Tian Yu looked around and saw that everything was the same as when she left. Nothing had changed. Even the books on the table and the rouge she had used were untouched and remained in their original places.

"Why don't you rest here for a while too?" Zhao Moyan said to Tian Yu.

“Okay!” Tian Yu said.

"Do as you please. I have some things to take care of, so I'll be leaving for a while."

"good!"

Zhao Moyan reached out to pat Tian Yu's head, but seeing Tian Yu's evasive action, he withdrew his hand, glanced at Tian Yu, and turned to leave.

After Zhao Moyan left, Green Willow and Autumn Chrysanthemum came in and asked Tian Yu if she needed anything. Tian Yu didn't need anything, so she looked around and asked, "Have you been in this courtyard the whole time?"

Since helping out at Yanyu Tower last time, Tian Yu hadn't seen the two of them. She had been thinking about thanking them properly, but hadn't had the time. Now that she saw them, Tian Yu wanted to chat with them, so she asked them to sit down at the table.

“Yes, Madam,” Qiuju said.

“Since you left, Qiuju and I have stayed in the East Courtyard. The Marquis told us to take good care of this place, and everything is exactly as you left it, untouched,” said Green Willow.

"Why do we have to do this?" Tian Yu asked curiously.

"We don't know, but the Marquis instructed us not to touch anything in this room. Qiuju and I are only responsible for cleaning," Green Willow said, glancing at Tianyu. Qiuju nodded in agreement.

Tian Yu looked at the two young girls in front of her and sighed, saying, "Your lord is truly hard to understand."

"The Marquis is waiting for the Madam to return!" Green Willow whispered. Autumn Chrysanthemum nudged Green Willow with her arm, as if Green Willow had said something she shouldn't have.

Watching their interaction, Tian Yu smiled and said, "Is there anything you want to tell me?"

"Don't push me. It's true, Madam. You don't know, but since you left, the Marquis has been resting here every night. Especially after he came back from the military camp last time, he often drinks alone here. We servants don't know what happened, but it's so bad for the Marquis's health to keep doing this! Can't you stay and keep him company, Madam?" Green Willow said angrily, standing up for their Marquis. Autumn Chrysanthemum was much calmer, but her eyes told Tian Yu that Green Willow was just talking. The one who was really angry for Zhao Moyan was the silent Autumn Chrysanthemum.

"He's been living here all along?" Tian Yu asked, somewhat uncertain. Was Zhao Moyan doing this because of her? She felt a little uneasy but still asked calmly.

“Yes!” Green Willow said, looking at Autumn Chrysanthemum.

"And you often drink alone in silence?" Tian Yu asked again.

“Yes!” they both nodded in unison.

"If Madam doesn't like our Marquis, she should release him sooner rather than later. Don't torture him like this," Qiuju said coldly.

"Thank you, I understand. You can leave now. I want to be alone." Tian Yu dismissed the two women. Qiu Ju seemed more composed than Lü Liu, but her attitude towards her today wasn't very friendly. Tian Yu could tell that Qiu Ju liked their Marquis. Looking around the room, she opened the wardrobe and saw the clothes he had prepared for her, including a few extra pieces of his own. She walked to the bed, lay down, pulled the blanket over her shoulder, and smelled it. Sure enough, they all carried Zhao Moyan's signature scent. Tian Yu felt a softening in her heart. She wondered if she really wanted to start over with Zhao Moyan. He was the Marquis, could they be happy? Could they live a peaceful life together?

After finishing his official business, Zhao Moyan rushed back to the East Courtyard. He saw Tian Yu asleep on the bed, shook his head, and went to the bedside to take off her shoes. He then took off his own shoes and lay down beside her. Seeing that she hadn't been woken, he carefully pulled her into his arms. Tian Yu felt a warmth in her sleep, and a familiar, pleasant scent reached her nose. She reached out and hugged him tightly, rubbing her face against him before settling into a comfortable position and continuing to sleep.

When Tangyuan woke up, he couldn't see his parents. Green Willow and Autumn Chrysanthemum told him that Tianyu and Zhao Moyan were still sleeping. Tangyuan peeked through the door, then smiled and closed it before taking Maorong to play in the front yard, not wanting to wake them. Maorong had been staying there recently. The clinic was small, and Maorong was getting bigger and bigger, eating more and more food. Tangyuan didn't dare take it out casually, afraid of scaring other people. So, Maorong would get unusually excited every time it saw Tangyuan, licking him incessantly, which made Tangyuan disgusted and try to hide.

Around dusk, Tian Yu woke up and opened her eyes to see Zhao Moyan looking at her. Tian Yu blinked, not quite understanding what was going on, when Zhao Moyan smiled and said, "You're awake!"

"What are you doing here?" Tian Yu asked, still a little dazed.

Looking at the two of them embracing, Tian Yu remembered what had happened before she went to sleep. She shyly climbed off Zhao Moyan and said, "I! I accidentally fell asleep just now. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
