With a heavy heart, Xi Xi returned to the car and lifted the stone treasure chest with all her might. The chest was not large, about the size of an 18-inch suitcase.

Xi Xi didn't know much about rock materials, and could only roughly tell that it was made of a dark-colored rock. The top of the treasure chest was carved with a tower-like totem, and it was surrounded by an incomprehensible ancient rune. The weathering marks gave it a rustic feel, and it was hard and very heavy.

Xi Xi was startled, realizing why she felt both familiar and unfamiliar when she first saw the treasure chest.

The totem is clear and three-dimensional, with a very unique style. Its complex structure and shape are different from all the famous towers in Xi Xi's original world. Instead, it is very similar to the weathered tower-shaped logo on the old-fashioned signboard of a convenience store in the suburbs at dawn.

It seems she entered the game's waiting area the moment she woke up. Is that convenience store actually part of the game world? Huh?

This unfathomable black color is rare, which inevitably reminded Xi Xi of a material called Vanta Black.

She had read about Vantaa Black in a scientific journal. It is hailed as an amazing material that "almost does not reflect light." It utilizes the huge gaps between carbon nanotubes to cause strong interference and scattering of light, ultimately absorbing all light.

"Goodness, isn't this much better than the roof rack?" Xi Xi finally put her worries aside. She walked around her car and, after thinking it over, removed the retractable straps that were originally used to secure the roof supplies through the windows and replaced them with brackets on the roof.

After working for half a day, Xi Xi wiped her sweat and returned to the car. She took out a four-bottle water set from the treasure chest, casually opened one of the bottles, and drank it in big gulps. It was empty in no time.

Whether it was just her own suggestion or not, she actually felt that the car was not as hot inside after the roof was installed. Although the roof could not block the sun from shining on the side of the car body, it did seem to reduce the direct ultraviolet rays on the roof to some extent.

She had considered this issue before, but thankfully, the supplies on the roof were mostly daily necessities like tissues and sanitary napkins, with only a few food items that couldn't fit. After calming her breathing in the car, Xi Xi glanced at the fuel gauge.
