Family, let me tell you something: I transmigrated, but it feels like I didn't fully! Except for this 21st-century brain, I brought nothing else over!
Other people transmigrate and either...
Joey looked at the sea outside the spaceship, calculating how much further they had to go.
"Catherine! Catherine!"
He suddenly called out to Catherine, who was standing not far away.
"You should call me Lady Catherine!"
Catherine reminded Joey, somewhat displeased.
"Yes, Catherine!"
"Catherine, I reckon we'll be in Ashfurnace City in about an hour!"
Joey thought this was good news that would make Catherine happy, but as soon as he said it, Catherine seemed a little anxious.
"How could it be so fast? We can't even see the coast yet!"
"My spaceship is incredibly fast! I've checked the map, and we're almost there!"
"Then stop immediately and tell the city that I'm coming back, or something bad will happen!"
"Stop?"
Joey didn't quite understand Catherine's words. Shouldn't they just go straight to Ashfury City and stop there? Why waste all this time?
"Listen to me, stop right now, or the city's garrison will mistake us for enemies!"
Catherine quickly explained, urging Joey to stop the spaceship immediately.
"Okay, okay, stop right away!"
Joey thought there was some truth to what Catherine said.
He canceled the automatic navigation and returned the control levers on the console to their original positions.
The spaceship was hovering on the sea surface, but at the end of the sea, a continuous coastline could be vaguely seen.
"Beep beep beep..."
A sudden, urgent alarm sounded in the cockpit, and the cabin, which had been bathed in pale blue light, turned a striking red.
"Imminent impact! Imminent impact! Prepare for impact!"
A robotic voice rang out, but it spoke in Draenei. Although Catherine didn't understand the meaning of the words, her expression changed drastically.
"Hold on to what's around you, and be careful!"
Joey reacted quickly; he understood perfectly. Having participated in numerous emergency drills in his previous life, he was already conditioned to this warning.
He rushed to Catherine's side, grabbed her hand, and ran to the cockpit entrance, making her crawl on the ground. He held Catherine with one hand and gripped the handle at the entrance tightly with the other.
"Bang!"
A violent impact struck, and the spaceship shook violently.
The bearded man, being a bit of a simpleton, didn't react in time to Joey's warning. With the impact, he fell to the ground, his head slamming heavily onto the earth.
"Ouch, that hurts!"
Joey glanced at the bearded man, thinking that this dim-witted brain was about to get even dumber.
Just as Joey was about to stand up to see why he had been attacked, Catherine pulled him back.
"Don't move yet, this isn't over yet!"
Catherine seemed to already know the reason for the spaceship's attack and pulled Joey back to keep him from moving.
"Bang bang bang!"
Three more violent impacts struck, causing the spaceship to shake even more violently.
"Will this ever end?"
Joey was furious; he wasn't one to take a beating without fighting back.
"Karl said the spaceship is low on energy. If we don't use weapons to attack, it can last for decades without any problems, but if we use weapons to retaliate, it probably won't last a year!"
"Ugh, this is so frustrating! This spaceship really is just a flying ship. It seems my Star Wars dream is shattered!"
"Until we find a way to replenish our energy supply, we can only use it as a passenger plane. We'll have to wait until we can transform it into a fighter jet!"
Joey seemed somewhat helpless, but for now, he could only face the situation at hand.
"Switch to human language!"
Joey said to the top of the cockpit.
"Switching..."
"Switch complete, Human language announcements are now enabled!"
"Check the spacecraft for damage!"
Joey, full of resentment, continued speaking towards the top of the cockpit.
"Start search..."
"The spacecraft's protective shield is normal, and the hull is undamaged!"
Wow, this spaceship, while unable to retaliate, is certainly a tough shell. It won't be easy to penetrate its armor.
Joey was increasingly baffled as to how the Draenei had ended up like this. Despite their superior technology, they had become refugees in this world.
While Joey was still pondering how to fight back against the danger outside, Catherine crawled over.
"You lie down first, this is dangerous!"
Joey quickly reminded her.
"No, there are only three warning attacks!"
Catherine is very familiar with this.
"Get me out of here, or we'll have no way to get near Ashfurnace City!"
Catherine's eyes were resolute.
"You mean this is an attack on us by Ashfury City?"
Catherine nodded.
"A defensive attack starting from this far away? Aren't you, Ashforge City, making a mountain out of a molehill?"
Joey had assumed that Ash Furnace City was just a larger city than Sandstone City, but he hadn't expected that its combat power was completely different from other planes.
"Get me out of here quickly, or the second attack won't be so polite!"
"You call that polite? You call that attack just now polite?"
Joey gave a wry smile, feeling a sense of awe towards the Ashfurnace City he had not yet arrived at.
"Quickly, do you really want to try a real attack?"
Catherine stood with her hands on her hips, pouting as she looked at Joey.
"Yes, yes, my Catherine, I'll do it right away!"
Joey started operating the control panel.
"It's Lady Catherine!"
Catherine tried to correct Joey's words.
"Yes, Catherine!"
Suddenly, a tremor came from the top of the cockpit, and a movable hatch above began to slide back to the left and right. A metal plate rose up beneath Catherine and Joey's feet, propelling them upwards.
