"Taozi, let me do it."

Han Chunan watched Dai Shutao's cooking skills and couldn't help wanting to intervene several times. After hesitating, he spoke softly.

Dai Shutao took a step back somewhat embarrassedly. Knowing his own level, he stopped trying to show off.

"Sorry, I usually order takeout or eat for free... I haven't cooked for myself in a long time."

Even when it is inconvenient to order takeout, Dai Shutao will just make some instant noodles and eat some bread as long as she is not hungry.

Han Chunan smiled good-naturedly at Dai Shutao and cut the vegetables skillfully. "It's okay. I used to make it often. Today I'll let you taste my cooking skills."

Dai Shutao wasn't idle either. She pulled a small stool over and sat beside him, diligently peeling garlic while chattering, "Your arrangement this time is quite stylish. You never told me you could play an instrument before, did you?"

"I hired someone to do it. It's cheating!" Han Chunan shrugged shyly at Dai Shutao. "Unlike you, I really only know how to sing. I came here because the production team couldn't find anyone else, so I came here temporarily to contribute a little attention. I'll probably leave in the next round, but because I was there to help, the production team tacitly allowed me to cheat by hiring someone to help me with the arrangement."

Dai Shutao suddenly understood. No wonder, although Han Chunan's singing was obviously a bit awkward, the adapted style of the music seemed very smooth.

The layman sees the excitement, the expert sees the details. When the music came out, Dai Shutao could roughly hear the changes.

However, the person Han Chunan invited was only of decent skill, but ignored the characteristics of Han Chunan's voice, which made Han Chunan's singing feel a little awkward.

When Dai Shutao stood up, she saw Han Chunan skillfully carving a flower out of a carrot. She immediately widened her eyes in amazement, grabbed her mobile phone and took a photo of the carrot flower.

"Chu Nan, your level is quite good!" Dai Shutao took several photos in a row. "Have you studied it systematically before?"

Han Chunan didn't expect Dai Shutao to like it so much. He quickly scanned the dishes at hand to see if there was anything else he could show off his skills.

"Before I entered the entertainment industry, I studied cooking. I loved eating when I was a child and always wanted to be a chef when I grew up."

Han Chunan lowered his head and cut the tomato in half. "Then something happened at home, and I was anxious to make money so I entered the entertainment industry. I didn't expect that I would be here now in the blink of an eye."

Dai Shutao paused and tactfully did not ask any further questions.

Everyone has their own sufferings, and Dai Shutao never likes to chase others and ask them what happened.

That's someone else's story and should be respected.

Fortunately, Han Chunan himself didn't want to make the atmosphere too heavy, so he immediately brought up other topics and reported his recent work like a good boy.

Upon learning that Han Chunan was going to be a producer, Dai Shutao gave it high praise and Han Chunan took the opportunity to invite her to sing the theme song for the TV series.

"Nowadays, TVs have one-click skipping for the opening and ending credits, but the interludes can't be skipped. Of course, I want more people to hear the music you sing, Taozi!"

Han Chunan spoke with confidence, and Dai Shutao couldn't help but smile and shake her head.

When the three dishes and one soup made by Han Chunan were served on the table, the doorbell rang. Dai Shutao ran over to open the door. As soon as she opened the door, she saw Qin Guican standing in front of her, praying with his chest.

"Why are you back?"

Dai Shutao subconsciously stepped aside and asked, "Did you see my performance today?"

"I've seen it. It's as excellent as ever." Qin Guican answered Dai Shutao's question, but his eyes fell on the direction of the kitchen, and his eyes met Han Chunan's who came out with dishes and chopsticks.

They were silent for a moment, then sneered in their hearts.

"Miss Han is here too." Qin Guican nodded with a forced smile, as if it were a greeting.

When facing Dai Shutao, both of their acting skills reached their peak.

"Yes, I made an appointment with Taozi to eat at home. How about Mr. Qin stay and have some too?"

Qin Guican felt a little angry when faced with Han Chunan's invitation.

Is this your home? Just speak up.

"Okay, I'd be remiss if you didn't agree."

Dai Shutao walked in slowly. Why do these two people look so fake?

While eating, Dai Shutao once again confirmed his idea.

When Qin Guican picked up a piece of vegetable for Dai Shutao, Han Chunan would pick up a piece of meat for Dai Shutao.

The two of them were like competing, their hands and mouths never stopped moving.

"I heard that Canxing Entertainment recently signed several promising artists. I thought President Qin would be too busy with work to have time for dinner!"

"Which one? The news that Miss Han has decided to step back behind the scenes is surprising. Although she hasn't achieved much in her career, it's still a smart move to change career paths."

Han Chunan almost gritted his teeth.

How could I have had good resources when I was in He Yiming’s company before!

If she really wanted to get the good resources in He Yiming's hands, she would have to pay a considerable price, so she wouldn't work so hard.

He has great acting skills but no chance to perform, and now he is being ridiculed. The more Han Chuan looks at Qin Guican, the more he dislikes him.

"Let me ask you two something." Dai Shutao suddenly looked up with a fake smile on his face.

Dai Shutao stretched out her hand and waved at her bowl.

"An empty bowl, but you two filled it so full. Will I have no next meal after I finish this one?"

As soon as Dai Shutao opened her mouth, Qin Guican and Han Chunan reacted instantly and subconsciously glared at each other.
