Chapter 101

When the other person kissed his lips, Toregia's reaction was very awkward.

This was the first time he had ever been so close to a man, so close that he could feel his breath, the skin of his cheek, and his trembling eyelashes. No Zergling had taught the Toregia this, but he instinctively gripped his waist.

Is there something that's been forgotten, but it doesn't seem important?

Torreggio hadn't seen Fei in a long time, and he didn't know how to express his longing, so he hugged him tightly, letting the other tremble as he gently kissed his lips.

He wanted to be close to the commander for a while, to hear him speak, and to gaze into his eyes.

Fortunately, as the commander said, his first words were a rather insincere and dry apology.

Then he looked at him with a look that Toto couldn't understand, a look of resignation to death. His blue eyes were no longer calm, but like a melancholy sea that had been invaded.

That look in Toto's eyes made him feel that he was certain of what setbacks he was about to suffer, certain of what failures he was about to encounter, but he didn't care.

He pulled away from Toregia's embrace, stood frozen for a moment, then slowly removed his hat, stood up straight, and said firmly, "I feel jealous."

What are you jealous of?

Toregia seemed to understand, but because he hadn't received the complete message, he didn't quite understand.

He didn't know why he was being kissed, but he knew why he accepted it without any reservations.

He wanted to say, "You kissed me, but..."

"Your Mightiness."

Toregia could guarantee that his voice was very soft, but it still sounded like a sign of being jolted awake from a beautiful dream. Fei, as if waking from a dream, finally realized what he had done. His refined face tightened, and even his usual gentle smile disappeared.

He knew this was his only chance, the only chance he had to speak up. He had the right to pursue it, and the responsibility to be honest. He couldn't remain silent and leave Toregia guessing, but at the same time, he couldn't accept having no chance at all, or losing him completely.

Countless thoughts flashed through her mind, which she then filtered out one by one. After a moment of silence, the female soldier spoke.

"I always thought I could give you selfless care."

“I used to think that I would marry a male insect that doesn’t love me and doesn’t need me to love him.”

"And you, Toregia..."

"I used to think it was because you had so little that I found it unbearable for others to take even the smallest thing from you. I've never felt this way before. I wish you were someone who doesn't love anyone. When they love you and you love them in return, I sincerely pray that you don't love anyone, don't make any sacrifices..."

"So, I had already fallen in love with you when I realized I shouldn't love you."

"I can't take back my feelings."

Fei was as gentle and sincere as possible. He observed Toto's reaction, not missing a single hesitation or surprise. He thought carefully about the possible responses that would lead to victory.

The commander Toto encountered was always calm, stern, and almost omnipotent. Toto rarely heard him say, "I can't do it," "I can't do it," or "I'm not capable of it."

Therefore, the only information he gleaned from that long passage due to his overwhelming surprise was that the Commander was in trouble and he almost instinctively wanted to say, "I can help."

Then, belatedly, it dawned on me that the Commander had run into a snag.

How can I help?

My heart is racing, I feel confused, and I feel guilty.

I tried to calm down, but it felt like the first time I'd ever been confessed to.

Therefore, his facial expression was out of control. Toto wanted to think for a while, but he didn't know what expression appeared on his face. The commander's composure gradually crumbled, and he showed a sad expression as if the entire army had been blown up in a black hole.

"If you feel very uncomfortable, find it hard to accept, or feel disgusted, then I'm sorry."

Fei is fighting a battle with very little chance of winning.

Not wanting to miss a single reaction from Toto, he seemed to understand as Toto pondered the situation: "I understand."

That's ridiculous.

Some insects' love requires Toregia to fight for and beg for it. Some people love him, and Toto likes him too, but he doesn't even dare to look Toto in the eye for a little while longer. Even after saying such a long speech, it's as if he's made a decision.

The two insects said nothing more. After such intimacy, Fei's reaction and frankness were so quick that Toto didn't have time to react appropriately. Unable to avoid the situation, he could only face it based on his true feelings.

But Toto didn't know what to do. He followed the Commander to the entrance with a blank look on his face. Fei changed his shoes heavily, dressed neatly, turned his back to Toregia, closed his eyes slightly, and put his fingers on the doorknob.

Just then, Toregia's puzzled voice finally came from behind: "But Your Excellency... I didn't push you away...."

ah.

Fei suddenly turned around and hugged Toregia with a sigh of relief. Toto was stunned for a moment, feeling that it was too fast, but he knew that he did not reject Fei. He slowly hugged the other, and the unease and discomfort that had been lingering in his heart since earlier disappeared.
