The female protagonist knows the plot, but when she enters a small world, she will immerse herself in playing the original body. Readers may find it interesting to watch.
Although I am cannon...
It was a day no different from any other. Fu Manxing was checking a shelf where herbs were drying.
The medicinal aroma of herbs is her favorite smell.
Before I could take a few more breaths of the medicinal fragrance, I heard a series of violent explosions.
Before she could figure out the source of the voice, the gate behind her suddenly opened, and Uncle Fu Luo, dressed in coarse linen clothes, ran in sweating profusely, took her hand and talked as they walked.
"Manxing! Come with me quickly, Grandma Fu is looking for you!"
"Looking for me? Did something happen to Uncle Fu Luo?"
Fu Manxing followed without knowing why. When the two of them ran to the road, she heard another deafening explosion. She looked up and saw strange and delicate traces of golden light appearing in the sky a few hundred meters behind her. Countless fireballs like meteors were constantly hitting the golden barrier.
Judging from the golden light, it can probably hold off for a while.
She was filled with surprise when she suddenly discovered that the old men in coarse cloth in the surrounding houses and yards were mysteriously and silently turning into stone statues.
"Uncle Furo, what's going on? Why are they petrified?"
She sounded a little anxious.
"Manxing, it's not clear yet, just go find the clan leader."
Fu Luo frowned and quickened his pace.
The Temple of the Goddess is an important forbidden place of the Fu Clan. Only the powerful people of the older generation can enter. Now it is full of women and children.
In the spacious hall, there is only a tall stone statue facing the door.
The stone statue is of the first person of the floating tribe. She is carved vividly, and her every frown and smile is very vivid, especially her eyes, which seem alive, just gazing at the surroundings quietly.
An old woman with white hair and dressed in blue-gray cloth was kneeling on the straw mat below the stone statue.
She knelt on the straw mat with her hands clasped together, her eyes closed tightly, and she murmured obscure spells devoutly.
The elderly, the weak, women and children around her huddled in the corner and watched her quietly. Everyone was very quiet and silent.
"Grandma Fu, Manxing has been brought here."
Fu Luo pulled Man Xing to stand by the door and spoke respectfully to Grandma Fu who was kneeling in the main hall.
"Well, go and help. Make sure to delay the formation from breaking."
Grandma Fu slowly opened her eyes when she heard the voice. Her voice sounded a little drowsy, but it had the magic power to calm people down.
"Yes, Grandma Fu."
Soon Fu Luo left.
Fu Manxing stood at the door, watching the situation, then carefully stepped into the hall and knelt down behind Grandma Fu.
"Grandma Fu."
This person is the high priest of the Fu tribe, in charge of the Fu tribe and also her grandmother.
Grandma Fu did not answer. She closed her eyes and chanted the spell again, gesturing with her fingers in the air. Bursts of blue light appeared at her fingertips, which was very magical.
Fu Manxing also didn't say anything, just quietly watching the blue light floating in the air.
Soon after the blue light stabilized, it gradually formed a scene. It was in a gorgeous palace, surrounded by gold and splendor, and every brick and tile was expensive. Then the picture changed to a large bed with gold silk brocade, and a man in gorgeous clothes was lying on the bed.
The man's face was pale and his lips were purple, obviously he had been poisoned.
Fu Manxing stared at the situation on the screen in confusion.
The scene changed quickly, and soon a beautiful woman in a white and blue gauze dress appeared beside the bed.
She looked at the man with an anxious look, and there was a hint of complex struggle in her anxious eyes. She stood aside without moving, but after the man spat out another mouthful of blood, she seemed to have given up struggling. She raised her hand with a determined look and cast a spell above the man. Drops of blood quickly dripped from her fingertips, floating in the air and gradually formed a string of incomprehensible spells.
The picture disappears here.
"Puff~"
Grandma Fu spat out a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground.
Fu Manxing looked at the situation, took two steps forward anxiously and supported her.
"Grandma! Are you okay?"
"Ahem, Xingxing, I'm fine."
Grandma Fu raised her hand to wipe the corner of her mouth, disappointment flashing in her eyes.
Is that really the case? Because of a man!
When the older generation in the corner saw this scene, many of them spoke out angrily.
"It's Fu Yao! I knew I should have let Man Xing go! Now she's going to kill us all."
"Isn't this a forbidden technique? Does she know what she's doing?!"
"They said we couldn't go in there. Now, she must have learned this spell from there."
Many elderly people began to complain in low voices.
After hearing these words, Fu Manxing also understood how Fu Yao in the picture did it.
Fu Yao had accidentally entered the forbidden area of the Fu clan. After coming out from there, she practiced very seriously and even came to her to beg her to let her take her place as the saint.
It just so happened that Fu Manxing didn't want to leave the valley, so he and Fu Yao went to find Grandma Fu to discuss replacing people.
The petrification curse, commonly known as suspended animation.
It can only be used once in a lifetime. This is an ability given by the Floating God since birth. It will be automatically triggered when your life is threatened.
Obviously, everything that is happening to the Fu tribe now is because of Fu Yao.
"Xingxing, come here and kneel down."
Grandma Fu ignored the accusations of the people around her, patted her granddaughter's wrist, sat up straight again and looked at the stone statue in front of her.
The situation is urgent now, and Xingxing will be the hope of their entire tribe.
After Manxing knelt down, Grandma Fu looked at the beautiful girl in front of her, raised her hand and pressed her eyebrows, drawing something on her forehead.
After a few seconds, she let go of his hand with a heavy expression, slowly stood up and walked to the platform in front of the stone statue, and took out a package that had been there for many years.
This is what every clan leader has to do just in case. She originally thought that she would not need it in her lifetime, but who knew that something unexpected would happen...
After Fu Manxing digested the secret scroll passed down to her by her original grandmother, she looked a little flustered. She knew clearly that it was Fu Yao who had harmed everyone.
