Ye Jingning glared at her coldly and left without saying a word. She was in no mood to argue with her now, and she didn't know where all the drama came from.

Ye Jingyun was puzzled and went back without caring. Seeing her parents' angry faces, she knew that something must have happened at home.

She smiled and walked over, "Mom and Dad, what's wrong?"

"Three months, and there's no effect at all. You're just as useless as your sister." Father Ye was so angry that he kept scolding her.

Ye Jingyun bit her lip, a little angry. No matter what she did, she would get angry. She always compared herself to her. Was she that bad? It was always like this. She was good, so why didn't you look happy? Didn't they just have a fight?

She said nothing and lowered her head in grievance.

Seeing this, Ye's mother quickly interrupted, "What are you talking about? Why would you say that about Yun'er for no reason?"

Father Ye glanced at his wife and finally said nothing.

Ye's mother sighed and wondered why she was making such a fuss all day long.

After leaving home, Ye Jingning went to wait for Xu Ankang at the school gate. When Xu Ankang came out after finishing his experiment, he saw her waiting alone at the gate. She looked so pitiful that he couldn't help but feel a little distressed. However, the difference in status between him and her was too great, and it was not suitable after all. Ye Jingning stared at his shadow, a bit dazed. He had always waited for her before, holding her hand and walking together, but now, he had actually gone ahead alone. She had just raised her hand, but then she let it go in disappointment. Then she pulled the corner of her mouth and hurried to catch up. As long as he still cared about her, everything could be saved. She believed that they were still destined to be together.

The two of them ate quietly, and Xu Ankang walked her back. The meal was quieter than ever. Although she kept trying to find opportunities to talk to him, he only casually said a few perfunctory words, unlike in the past when he would join in the fun. She didn't understand how they had come to this point. She walked beside him all the way, feeling lost.

When he was almost near her villa, he looked at the magnificent villa in front of him and stopped, and Ye Jingning also stopped.
