Chapter 259 The Four Evil Gods and Zhong Kai's Plan

In the Warhammer universe, nearly every intelligent being possesses a soul projection within the Warp, differing only in strength and size. These projections are as numerous as the stars in the universe, the grains of sand in the desert, and the drops of water in the ocean. They resonate psionically with the Warp, transforming it into a terrifying realm capable of emotional entanglement.

Thus, the accumulated emotions and aspirations of countless intelligent beings in the universe finally gave rise to the Chaos Gods within the Warp. These "gods of faith" condensed from the emotions of all living beings, in other words, as long as emotions still existed in the real universe, they would be eternal and immortal.

Among these gods, the most powerful and terrifying are the four evil gods, twisted and condensed by the evil thoughts and desires of all living beings. They are:

Nurgle, the god of life, also known as the god of decay, mainly comes from human desire for health and longevity, and resentment towards disease, famine and plague.

Khorne - the god of courage, also known as the god of blood and violence - mainly comes from the desire for victory and the horror of war.

Tzeentch - the god of wisdom, also known as the god of trickery and change - mainly comes from the desire for knowledge and wisdom, and the disgust for the fickleness of fate.

Slaanesh - the god of love, also known as the god of indulgence - mainly comes from the desire for love, the pursuit of art and various indulgent desires.

The four Chaos Gods rarely cooperate, often locked in mutual conflict. Bored and eternal, they collectively transformed into "Fun People," initiating a rivalry known as the Great Contest. From this point on, the Warp became not only the home of the Chaos Gods, but also their battlefield. However, no single god emerged victorious, for none could halt this eternal conflict.

They will constantly erode the real universe and cultivate their own Chaos followers. Using their extraordinary power, they will tempt mortals to fall. As long as they complete the trials of the evil gods, they will receive different mutation blessings and extraordinary powers, as well as the possibility of ascending to demons.

Today's universe is rife with endless war, giving rise to countless zealots who crave battle and worship ultimate power. They worship Khorne's unbridled power and aspire to become his followers. Once they surrender their souls to Khorne, fulfilling his bloodlust, he grants them the art of war and the techniques of combat, while their bodies undergo transformations, becoming even more powerful and possessing bestial features.

The most distinctive feature of Khorne's believers is their devilish horns and sharp claws. They will please Khorne by killing crazily and irrationally, shouting slogans such as "Blood sacrifice to the Blood God, skulls to the Skull Throne", rushing into the enemy camp to launch a crazy massacre, and eventually conquering the entire planet, sacrificing hundreds of millions of human lives to Khorne.

Nurgle, the Benevolent Father, is known as the most benevolent and peaceful of all evil gods. He loves all living things equally, including bacteria and viruses. He governs compassion, happiness, and positive energy. He teaches people to accept decay and failure, and to face them with peace and joy. He is also the god of disease, presiding over despair, death, and decay.

Under his blessing, believers will become bloated zombies and rotting monsters, each of whom can be equally infected with any kind of disgusting bacteria, viruses, fungi and infectious diseases. In return, Nurgle believers will no longer feel any pain, and the father will guide them to join their fraternal family.

Slaanesh governs decadence, sensuality, shamelessness, and the art of talent. Followers of Slaanesh revel in the sensuality of all senses, often adorned in ornate clothing and armor, and adorned with jewelry inscribed with Slaanesh's imagery. This is because Slaanesh favors artists and is willing to help them create masterpieces. Ordinary mortals exposed to these works of art will be corrupted by Slaanesh.

The bodies of Slaanesh followers will undergo horrifying changes, such as the disappearance of eyelids, exposing the eyeballs, the disappearance of the cochlea, leaving only an ear hole, and even the tongue will become very long so that it can taste the smells around it.

Becoming a follower of Tzeentch has only two outcomes: either being granted extraordinary power or having your soul ripped away. For the Lord of Change sees everyone's fate as part of His plan. He often communicates and collaborates with some humans, but in reality, he is toying with their fate.

His plans are endless and ever-changing. Within the Imperium, two groups are at high risk of being corrupted by Tzeentch. The first is psykers, researchers, and scholars, elite humans eager to gain greater knowledge and secrets. Tzeentch grants them forbidden knowledge and tells them the secrets they desire to know, corrupting them. The second is the Imperial nobility and politicians, empowered with intrigue and schemes to defeat their enemies.

Once these people become followers of Tzeentch, they will unconsciously become part of his plan and pawns that can be abandoned at any time.

After a thorough review, you'll discover that the Chaos Cultists' fanaticism, joy, and happiness are actually manifestations of being driven mad by the whispers of the evil god. There's no such thing as redemption!

Khorne's bloodlust becomes an endless mental torture, turning people into brutal and mindless killing machines.

The schemes that Tzeentch tempts to execute are part of his toy with all living things.

Slaanesh will first treat you as a toy and play with you in all kinds of heavy-tasting ways that ordinary people can't imagine.

The blessing of Nurgle will first torture you with severe pain, and if you don't survive it, you will become a disgusting and unconscious Chaos Spawn. Even if you survive and become his believer, you will still face being driven into the battlefield as cannon fodder and used as a touchstone for others.
