Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
In the vegetable garden.
Qin Hao walked towards the little dumpling.
Seeing that the other party was hostile, Lao Gao picked up his hoe and stood in front of the little dumpling, his wrinkles instantly deepening as he shouted, "What do you want to do?"
Qin Hao's eyes were filled with disdain. He looked down on people of low status like Lao Gao and didn't even bother to give him a second glance. "You have no right to speak here."
The little dumpling stepped forward, raising the Heaven-Slaying Sword in her hand. "Show me some respect, or I'll cut you down!"
The Chengtian Sword exuded a chilling aura. Qin Hao looked at the little dumpling and said arrogantly, "My name is Qin Hao, and I am the Crown Prince of the Great Zhen Dynasty. Show me this sword, and I can give you endless riches and glory!"
The little dumpling knew that the Chengtian Sword was very valuable, and she looked at it with disdain, "Do you think I'm stupid? Don't think that you're some kind of bullshit prince, or even your father, it's useless."
"snort!"
Qin Hao was getting a little impatient.
His golden eyes split in two, and the golden double pupils exuded a terrifying pressure, causing the mountains and forests to tremble.
"Getting impatient?"
The little dumpling continued its mockery.
Although Lao Gao's body was trembling, he gripped the hoe tightly with both hands and said with a firm look in his eyes, "Four-eyes, don't think I'm afraid of you. Come and try me."
"Hahaha!"
The little dumpling was amused by Lao Gao.
Qin Hao's eyes widened in anger. How dare a lowly farmer speak to him like that? His eyes were filled with murderous intent. "Don't think that just because it's within the Great Xia territory, I won't dare to make a move."
"Then you try it yourself."
A cheerful voice rang out, and a tall woman in red appeared near the vegetable garden. Zhu Xian put one hand on her hip and said coldly, "If you come to visit, I welcome you. But if you come to cause trouble, I will grind you to dust."
"Your Highness!"
Old Gao knelt down before Zhu Xian.
Qin Hao loosened his clenched fist. "The Emperor of Great Xia invited me here. You should know his plans."
Zhu Xian didn't take it seriously. "Of course I know. Maybe you don't understand what he really wants."
Qin Hao joked, "I like your personality. The time isn't right yet. When it is, you'll be begging me."
"hehe."
Zhu Xian ignored him.
Qin Hao turned and left the vegetable garden.
Wan'er arrived near the vegetable garden, looking nervous. She had been resting in the yard because she didn't want to help the little dumpling catch bugs, but she almost got into trouble.
Zhu Xian came to the vegetable garden, helped Lao Gao up, and said with a serious face, "Lao Gao, didn't I tell you that you don't need to kneel when you see me? Why do you always forget?"
Old Gao scratched his head like a child.
Zhu Xian looked at Wan'er who had come closer, her phoenix eyes narrowed slightly, and she said in a cold voice, "It's one thing that you weren't by Master Qin's side, but you almost got into trouble right under his nose."
Wan'er immediately knelt on the ground, her forehead pressed against the soil, and said in a terrified voice, "It was my dereliction of duty, please punish me, Your Highness!"
Zhu Xian said seriously, "If this kind of problem happens again in the future, you will go and feed the pigs for me."
"promise!"
Wan'er nodded repeatedly.
Zhu Xian said softly, "I brought back two jars of good wine. Go and prepare two hearty dishes to go with the wine."
"Yes, sir!"
Wan'er left the vegetable garden.
Zhu Xian looked at the Chengtian Sword in the little dumpling's hand, her phoenix eyes becoming serious. "Little guy, this sword of yours is very powerful. No wonder the Crown Prince of the Great Zhen Dynasty wanted it."
The little dumpling held its head high and said, "I am the Great Protector of Longhu Temple, Little Dumpling. This sword was pawned to me by someone, and I will take good care of it for him these next two days."
Zhu Xian wasn't interested in the sword; she was more curious, "Why isn't Qin Luo at the Heavenly Stems Courtyard?"
"The eldest brother is at West Lake."
Zhu Xian's lips curled up. "It's his loss that he's not in the Heavenly Stems Academy. Lao Gao, let's have a drink together."
"Yes, ma'am."
Old Gao nodded with a smile.
The little dumpling put away the Heavenly Sword, grinned sweetly, and said, "Princess sister, I'll drink with you."
"OK!"
Zhu Xian reached out and pinched the little dumpling's cheek, praising with a smile, "You're quite adorable, little one."
"hey-hey."
The little dumpling raised its smiling face.
They returned to the courtyard, where Zhu Xian took out two jars of wine. She opened the lids, and the aroma of the wine filled the courtyard. Xiao Tuanzi took out her little gourd and asked with a smile, "Princess sister, could you fill my gourd first?"
"no problem."
Zhu Xian poured wine into the small gourd.
The little dumpling's big eyes shone brightly.
Old Gao brought over several large bowls from the kitchen, and Zhu Xian filled them all with wine. Just as they finished their first bowl, Wan'er returned with several side dishes to accompany the wine.
Wan'er smiled and said respectfully, "Princess, these are braised pig's trotters from Jiangxianglou, as well as pig's ears and pig's tail, all of which you like to eat."
Let's eat together.
"promise."
Neither Lao Gao nor Wan'er were quite relaxed when drinking with Zhu Xian, except for Xiao Tuanzi, who held the wine cup with both hands and said, "Princess sister, let's have a toast!"
"Let's go!"
Zhu Xian handed the bowl over.
Bang!
When the two bowls clinked together, some wine spilled out, and cheerful laughter filled the courtyard.
While the little dumpling was gnawing on a pig's trotter, the little black cat came into the yard. It walked toward the Chengtian Sword, and suddenly a pig bone fell in front of it.
The little black cat stood there, stunned.
The little dumpling looked at the little black cat, tilted its head, and asked, "Little Blackie, why don't you eat the bones?"
Meow~
Little Blackie shook his head.
The little dumpling put on a stern face and said seriously, "If you don't eat bones, you're not a good cat."
Zhu Xian looked at the little black cat on the ground. The little black cat also noticed Zhu Xian's gaze, and it ran towards the outside of the yard, disappearing without a trace in the blink of an eye.
"The dogs at Longhu Temple are still the most obedient."
