Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
A wide white jade staircase leads to the mountain peak. Qin Luo climbs the steps, and the surrounding spirits notice him. His white hair is loose, his Taoist robe is flowing, and he is handsome and otherworldly.
"Immortal... Immortal Master?"
Seeing a glimmer of hope, the surrounding spirits knelt on the ground and pleaded, "Immortal Master, please save us."
"Get up."
Qin Luo nodded slightly.
A gust of cold wind lifted them up.
roar!
A roar came.
The spirits in the mountains were trembling.
Qin Luo walked towards the mountain peak with a blank expression.
A tiger demon with golden fur emerged from the palace. It was tall and imposing, with golden pupils, and the ground trembled slightly with each step it took.
The tiger demon left the palace and watched as a young Taoist priest with a full head of white hair appeared on the mountain peak.
"Taoist priest?"
The tiger demon narrowed its eyes slightly.
Qin Luo saw a strong malevolent aura emanating from the tiger demon. The bird-beaked Yin spirit landed beside him and bowed, saying, "Great Immortal, this tiger demon has committed numerous evils. Please act on behalf of Heaven to bring justice."
Upon hearing this, the tiger demon's eyes widened in anger. It released a powerful aura, and a blood-red murderous aura enveloped the mountain peak. "Taoist, I advise you not to meddle in other people's business."
The bird-beaked spirit instinctively retreated.
Qin Luo remained calm. He noticed a barely perceptible fine mark on the tiger demon's face—a sword mark. This sword strike was unforgettable for the tiger demon, and even in death, the sword mark remained etched on its spirit.
The sword mark reminded him of the Fallen Leaves of Autumn Wind Pavilion. Fallen Leaves comprehended the Autumn Wind Sword Intent, and his sword was like the autumn wind, leaving no trace. "You were killed by a sword cultivator?"
The tiger demon's pupils constricted sharply, his body tensed involuntarily, and he asked with a puzzled look, "How did you know?"
“Wraiths retain certain characteristics from their final moments. The sword mark on your face is finer than a hair; it must have been left by a master swordsman, a fatal blow.” Qin Luo continued, “Did you spare a martial artist many years ago?”
The tiger demon trembled, its expression filled with terror as it asked, "Who are you? How do you know so much?"
The bird-beaked Yin God was equally shocked. He had thought Qin Luo could deduce the past, and his eyes were filled with awe.
Qin Luo thought for a moment, then said with a serious expression, "You spared Wu Shashen back then, so I can spare you too. But since you enjoy enslaving weak creatures, then you shall be a slave for eternity."
"roar!"
The tiger demon roared at Qin Luo, "Do you think I'm some Tom, Dick, or Harry? That I can just say whatever I want?"
No sooner had the words left his mouth than the tiger demon pounced, its enormous figure crashing down like a small mountain.
The bird-beaked evil spirit instinctively dodged.
Qin Luo stood still, raised his hand to unleash lightning magic, formed a hand seal, and a bolt of black lightning surged out from his sleeve, instantly enveloping the mountain peak in black lightning light.
Boom!
Thunder roared across the mountaintop.
The tiger demon was instantly blasted away by the black lightning.
The bird-beaked spirit was dumbfounded.
Qin Luo discovered that the lightning technique he used actually released Yin lightning, but its power was still formidable.
Aww!
The tiger demon collapsed to the ground, howling in agony.
Qin Luo used the most ordinary lightning technique; if he had used true tribulation lightning, the tiger demon would have been annihilated long ago.
"Great Immortal, you are mighty!"
The bird-beaked Yin spirit exclaimed excitedly.
Qin Luo slowly walked up to the tiger demon.
The once ferocious tiger demon clutched its head and begged for mercy, its expression filled with terror. "Daoist Master, I was wrong. I, Hu Biao, am willing to serve you like a slave. Please, have mercy on me."
Qin Luo sat on the tiger demon's back, treating it as a mount, and said indifferently, "To the River Styx."
The tiger demon was badly injured and could only stand up despite the pain. The bird-beaked Yin spirit bowed to Qin Luo in gratitude, "Thank you for your help, Great Immortal. I am deeply grateful."
"My name is Qin Luo, I'm not some kind of immortal, this is what I should do. Please trouble you to settle the nearby spirits, senior. I hope we can meet again someday." Qin Luo bowed and took his leave.
"no problem!"
The bird-beaked demon nodded with a smile.
The tiger demon carried Qin Luo away into the distance.
The once ferocious tiger demon now appeared sickly and walked with difficulty. Qin Luo reminded it, "Stay away from the village and don't disturb the nearby people."
"Yes, sir!"
The tiger demon roamed through the mountains and forests.
The trees here are taller than those in the secular world.
In Qin Luo's eyes, these spirits were no different from ordinary people. They didn't know they were dead. No wonder they thought they were ghosts when they first encountered them.
Sensing the tiger demon's malevolent aura, the evil spirits wandering in the mountains scattered and fled. Qin Luo did not want these evil spirits to go to the place where the Yin spirits lived, so he activated his thunder magic. Wherever he went, dark clouds covered the area, thunder roared continuously, and bolts of tribulation lightning descended, turning the evil spirits into ashes in the tribulation lightning.
The tiger demon looked terrified; a single bolt of tribulation lightning could have obliterated it, but Qin Luo used the tribulation lightning to destroy the evil spirit.
After traversing mountains and valleys, the tiger demon was panting heavily, but dared not stop for a moment. Even though his legs were trembling from exhaustion, he still slowly walked towards the River Styx.
Qin Luo discovered that the Yin energy around him was constantly eroding his soul. If he stayed in the underworld for too long, it would be difficult to return to the mortal world. To stop the Yin energy from eroding him, he had to cut himself off from this world, which would prevent him from perceiving anything around him.
Much later.
The tiger demon finally arrived at the River Styx.
It was a river that wasn't very wide, but it meandered into the distance like a snake.
Boom!
The tiger demon collapsed to the ground and fell into a deep sleep.
"Such clear river water." Qin Luo gazed at the River Styx; it was the clearest river water he had ever seen.
The waters of the River Styx flowed slowly.
Qin Luo crouched down and touched the water of the River Styx. A surge of pure Yin energy flowed into his body. It was an extremely Yin and cold energy that ordinary Yin spirits could not withstand.
"This is soul power?!"
