Who Made You Cultivate Seriously?

Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...

Chapter 215 Ten Years Later

The Longhu Temple was bathed in the glow of the setting sun.

The little dumpling noticed that Ziyue looked downcast, so she stepped forward, took Ziyue's arm, blinked, and said in a clear voice, "Little Ziyue, let's go to Mirror Lake Academy to eat meat."

Zi Yue shook her head, her eyes resolute, and said, "Little dumpling, you go ahead, I still need to cultivate."

The little dumpling smiled and comforted her, "Little Purple Moon, Boss will definitely come back, you don't need to worry."

"I know."

"I just miss him."

Ziyue gazed in the direction of the capital.

A gust of cold wind swept over him, causing the sleeping Golden Horn to shiver. Qin Luo heard his junior sister's call and, ignoring the boundary between Yin and Yang, appeared outside the Dragon Tiger Temple in the blink of an eye.

Qin Luo, dressed in white, appeared before Zi Yue with a smile in his eyes and said softly, "Junior Sister."

"Senior brother!"

"Boss!"

Ziyue and Xiaotuanzi opened their eyes wide with excitement. They rushed towards Qin Luo at the same time, but both missed.

Qin Luo's ghost stood there, his robes fluttering, his white hair flowing, like an immortal who had ascended to heaven.

"Senior brother?"

Zi Yue's eyes were filled with doubt.

Qin Luo explained with a smile, "This is my projection. I'm in a very far place and can't come back for the time being."

The little dumpling beamed, hands on her hips, and said proudly, "Boss, I'm now the Grand Protector of the Dragon Tiger Temple, personally appointed by the Temple Master. Aren't I amazing?"

"sharp."

Qin Luo gave a thumbs up, "You must take good care of Zi Yue and Jin Yan, and protect Longhu Temple."

"Of course."

The little dumpling puffed out its chest.

Zi Yue burst into tears of joy. She wiped her eyes and said sweetly, "Senior brother, I have been cultivating diligently while you were away. I can now draw so many talismans."

Qin Luo smiled and nodded, "Junior Sister, you should cultivate diligently at the Taoist temple. In the future, you can go wherever you want and eat whatever you want."

"Uh-huh."

Zi Yue nodded heavily.

Jin Yan was cultivating in the backyard when he heard the commotion outside the Taoist temple. In the blink of an eye, he appeared outside the temple, his golden eyes gleaming. The senior brother in front of him was no different from the ghosts in the mountains, and he couldn't help but frown.

Qin Luo knew that Jin Yan had seen through something, so he shook his head, signaling Jin Yan not to make a fuss.

Jin Yan was naturally intelligent. He understood Qin Luo's implication, suppressed his grief, and bowed, saying, "Senior Brother!"

Qin Luo smiled slightly, "Junior Brother, I'll have to trouble you while I'm away from Longhu Temple."

"Uh-huh!"

Jin Yan's eyes were filled with tears.

Wu Xuantian stepped out from the door god portrait. He and Qin Luo exchanged a smile, and they needed not say anything more.

Qin Luo looked up at the little black cat on the courtyard wall, then at Golden Horn wagging its tail vigorously. After he left, Longhu Temple was even more lively than before.

Zi Yue noticed Qin Luo's full head of white hair, and her little face showed concern. "Senior brother, what happened to your hair?"

Qin Luo paused for a moment, then replied with a smile, "Awakening, Nourishing Life, Carefree, Immaculate, Transcending Mortality, and Transcending. I am currently in the Transcending Mortality stage, so you don't need to worry."

"Our leader is amazing, he's almost transcended!" The little dumpling believed it, her eyes filled with admiration.

Zi Yue believed Qin Luo's words and asked curiously, "Senior brother, when will you be back?"

"I won't be back for now. If you run into any trouble, just call out to me. No matter how far away you are, I will be there for you," Qin Luo said in a deep voice.

"Senior brother, as long as you are safe, I won't bother you anymore." Zi Yue was afraid of causing Qin Luo any trouble.

The little dumpling grinned and said, "Big brother, when you come back, you have to bring me something delicious."

Jin Yan said with a firm look in his eyes, "Senior brother, I will take good care of Master and Junior Sister, don't worry."

Qin Luo smiled and nodded. He looked up and felt for the first time how dazzling the sunset on Luoxia Peak was. His soul was being burned, and his figure became dim. As he disappeared, the last ray of sunset light also disappeared.

"Senior brother!"

Ziyue didn't even have a chance to say goodbye.

"I'm going to patrol the mountain first, I'll be back later!" The little dumpling ran to Jinghu Academy. She was carefree now, either eating melon seeds at Longhu Temple or eating at Jinghu Academy.

Zi Yue and Jin Yan returned to the backyard of the Taoist temple. They sat cross-legged on the platform, preparing to cultivate. Zhang Fulong appeared outside the temple at some point. His deep eyes gazed into the distance, and finally he sighed softly, "Transforming into the mortal realm, transforming into the mortal realm, in the end even your soul is almost gone. Are you really transforming into the mortal realm?"

...

The Forbidden Land of the Underworld.

Qin Luo returned to the Yellow Springs Inn.

His ghostly presence had dimmed considerably, and the little ghost asked in confusion, "Brother, why did you suddenly disappear just now?"

"I went back to Longhu Temple for a look."

Qin Luo answered with a smile.

There was a tall, thin, middle-aged swordsman in the inn, wiping away the tears from the corners of his eyes.

Yuanyuan brought him the Forget-Worry Wine, saying respectfully, "This is your Forget-Worry Wine, please enjoy it."

The middle-aged swordsman didn't look at the bowl of wine; he stood up and walked straight out of the inn.

Yuanyuan looked at Qin Luo, at a loss.

The rule of the Yellow Springs Inn is that if you want to receive a dream, you must drink the Forget-Worry Wine. This was a rule set by Qin Luo. After the middle-aged sword cultivator finished receiving the dream, he did not want to drink the Forget-Worry Wine. Qin Luo looked at him and said, "Fellow Daoist, have you forgotten our agreement?"

The middle-aged swordsman wanted to step out of the inn, but was bound by an invisible force and could not take a single step out.

The ghosts in the inn all stared at the middle-aged swordsman. If Qin Luo let him leave so easily, no one would care about the rules of the Yellow Springs Inn anymore.

"hey-hey."

The little devil brought a stool to watch the excitement.

Qin Luo picked up the bowl of Forget-Worries Wine and walked towards the middle-aged swordsman, smiling as he said, "Only by letting go of the past can you be reborn. Drinking the Forget-Worries Wine will do you good."
