Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
Hua Ying put away the Soul Lotus, and a smile appeared on her usually cold and aloof face. If what Xuanwu said was true, these three great herbs could allow Qin Luo to live for another sixty years.
Not far away was half of the Nether Kun's body. Hua Ying carried some of the Nether Kun's flesh back to the Yellow Springs Inn.
The Inn of the Underworld.
Hua Ying took out the Nether Kun meat, and the little ghost was overjoyed. "Fairy sister, I knew you were amazing."
Yuan Yuan smiled and handed over a golden talisman, saying crisply, "Sister, you said before that you wanted to send a dream to your older brother. This dream-sending talisman might be useful to you."
Hua Ying took the golden talisman and was overjoyed to discover that it was written by Qin Luo. "This talisman was left to me by Qin Luo?"
Yuanyuan shook her head. "Big brother gave me a lot of dream-telling talismans. He told me to use them when I'm busy."
"I was overthinking it."
"Does the older sister like the older brother?"
Hua Ying nodded and smiled lightly, "A little bit."
With a round little face, she excitedly said, "Sister, you can stay at the Yellow Springs Inn and wait for big brother to come back."
The little devil grinned and said, "Yuanyuan is right, we can also help you come up with ideas."
"I have some very important things to take care of. I'll come to see you again when I have the chance." Hua Ying shook her head helplessly.
"Uh-huh."
Yuanyuan nodded.
Before leaving, Hua Ying remembered something: "The tiger demon is preventing the wandering souls from going to the Yellow Springs Inn."
"ah?"
Yuanyuan immediately understood why no ghosts had come to the Yellow Springs Inn recently. She turned to look at the little ghost.
The little devil scratched his head awkwardly, "Yuanyuan, I just don't want you to be too tired, I want to make things easier for you."
Yuanyuan didn't blame the little devil. She smiled and said, "Third brother, I'm not tired. I want to help more people in need, just like my older brother helped me."
"It's all my fault!"
"I'll go deal with that idiot first."
The little devil left the Yellow Springs Inn in the blink of an eye.
Hua Ying smiled; although Qin Luo was dead, he still influenced the world.
...
Huaxi Village.
The night is deep and quiet, and the bright moon hangs high in the sky.
A beautiful figure in purple stood atop the mountain, outshining even the bright moonlight. Hua Ying summoned the Purple Gold Eight Trigrams Furnace.
In an instant, the energy of heaven and earth surged toward the mountain peak. Hua Ying looked at Qin Luo in the furnace, her eyes rippling with joy and worry. She didn't know if she could succeed.
Hua Ying wanted to use the Purple Gold Eight Trigrams Furnace to reshape Qin Luo's physical body, so she put three large medicinal herbs directly into the furnace.
The Purple Gold Eight Trigrams Furnace absorbed the energy of heaven and earth, igniting a raging fire. The Immortal Peach began to melt, eventually transforming into a ball of golden light that enveloped Qin Luo. A surge of life energy flowed into Qin Luo's body, and the cracks on his body healed at a visible speed. The Undying Golden Lotus and the Nine Nether Soul Lotus landed on Qin Luo's chest and between his eyebrows, respectively.
The Immortal Golden Lotus comes from the Thunder Pool of the Western Paradise. It is an elixir of immortality. The lotus leaves shimmer with lightning. After being refined in the Purple Gold Eight Trigrams Furnace, it finally transforms into a beating heart.
The Great Dao wounds on Qin Luo's body began to heal, and the Soul Lotus slowly disappeared between Qin Luo's brows. A golden lake appeared in his previously depleted sea of consciousness.
Before long, Qin Luo's body gradually regained its color, his white hair turned back to black, and his heart began to beat again, accompanied by bursts of thunder.
Hua Ying watched as Qin Luo's physical body regained its vitality. Instead of being happy, she became nervous because Qin Luo's soul had dissipated, leaving only a trace of his true spirit.
The probability of waking Qin Luo with this bit of true spirit is extremely low. Even if Hua Ying uses the laws of time, it has no effect. A glimmer of light flew out from between her brows, and that bit of true spirit eventually returned to Qin Luo's sea of consciousness.
Hua Ying hoped for a miracle to happen.
The flames in the Purple Gold Eight Trigrams Furnace gradually died down. Qin Luo's eyes remained tightly closed, showing no sign of waking up. Hua Ying pursed her lips; she had guessed this would be the outcome.
Hua Ying carried Qin Luo out of the Purple Gold Eight Trigrams Furnace and then took him back to the farmhouse at the foot of the mountain.
The bright moonlight filled the room.
Qin Luo lay on the bed.
All of her clothes were hand-sewn by Huaying.
Hua Ying lay beside Qin Luo, her hands folded at her waist, listening to Qin Luo's breathing.
The courtyard was filled with the chirping of crickets, the distant barking of dogs, and the babbling of the stream. Lying beside Qin Luo, Hua Ying felt a long-lost sense of peace, as if she had returned to the Dragon Tiger Temple.
early morning.
Ooh ooh ooh—
A rooster crowed in the courtyard.
Hua Ying suddenly opened her eyes and turned to look at Qin Luo beside her. Qin Luo was still lying there.
Qin Luo looked like he was sleeping soundly. Hua Ying murmured softly, "According to ancient records, even if the soul dissipates, the physical body can still retain some of the memories from before death."
Hua Ying believed that as long as she stayed by Qin Luo's side, one day she would see him wake up.
The first rays of dawn pierced through the clouds and fell into the room, bathing Qin Luo's skin in the golden light.
"Qin Luo, stop sleeping in!"
Hua Ying gently pinched Qin Luo's face.
Seeing that Qin Luo didn't react, Hua Ying pursed her lips and carried Qin Luo to the yard to bask in the sun.
Hua Ying tied her long hair up with a peach branch. Dressed in simple clothes, she first fed the livestock and then swept the courtyard. After a flurry of activity, she came to the shade of a tree and looked at Qin Luo, who was "meditating" on a bamboo chair. She asked with a smile, "Qin Luo, what would you like to eat? I'll make it for you."
A moment later, Hua Ying answered herself, "You are weak right now, I'll make you some chicken soup to help you recover."
The chickens and ducks raised in the courtyard were all very fat. Hua Ying caught a rooster that she had raised for several years and made soup for Qin Luo.
The farmhouse courtyard is filled with the warmth of daily life.
A gentle breeze swept through the farmhouse courtyard, and Huaying brought in freshly cooked chicken soup. After blowing on the soup in the spoon to cool it down, she fed it to Qin Luo spoonful by spoonful.
