Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
Deep in the Qingyun Mountains, upstream of the Longyan River, towering mountains and dense forests and bamboo groves stretched out. There were originally no paths in the mountains, but Qin Luo and Hua Ying created them as they walked.
A cool breeze blew in, and Qin Luo saw a bamboo house not far away, with a trickle of water flowing in front of it.
Dressed in a green dress, Zhu Qingyu danced with her sword in front of the house, her movements graceful and ethereal, the clear sound of her sword echoing through the mountains.
Hearing footsteps, Zhu Qingyu stood in the courtyard with her sword in hand, watching Qin Luo and Hua Ying slowly walk towards the bamboo house.
The mountains are dangerous, often frequented by ferocious beasts. This place is not for ordinary people to approach. Zhu Qingyu frowned slightly. She could not detect the spiritual energy fluctuations on Qin Luo and Hua Ying, but she could sense that they had extraordinary temperaments.
Zhu Qingyu sheathed her longsword, her brows relaxed, and she cupped her hands in a respectful bow. "I am Zhu Qingyu from the Green Mountain Sword Sect. Are you two here at the Dragon King Cave seeking good fortune?"
Qin Luo gazed at Zhu Qingyu. She was still young, but her master was old and frail. "Junior Qin Luo, is Fairy Zhu here for the fortune of the Dragon King Cave?"
Seeing Qin Luo lower his status, Zhu Qingyu's tense nerves relaxed slightly. She nodded and said, "Dragon King Cave is a blessed land left behind by an ancient true dragon. Even our Green Mountain Sword Sect's old sect master could not break the restrictions deep in the cave. I cannot obtain the fortune within. Fortunately, the Dragon King Cave is rich in spiritual energy, so cultivating here can be twice as effective."
Qin Luo smiled and said softly, "Fairy Zhu, may we go to the Dragon King Cave?"
"The true dragon has been gone for many years, and this Dragon King Cave has long been unclaimed. Of course, the two of you can go in and seek your fortune." Zhu Qingyu returned the smile, his attitude quite friendly.
Even so, Qin Luo and Hua Ying both understood that the Dragon King Cave was near the Green Mountain Sword Sect, and Zhu Qingyu lived outside the Dragon King Cave. This area was within the Green Mountain Sword Sect's sphere of influence, and ordinary cultivators would likely cause trouble if they got too close.
Qin Luo and Hua Ying headed towards the Dragon King Cave, with Zhu Qingyu following beside them, also wondering if they could break through the restrictions inside.
The interior of the Dragon King Cave was dark, deep, cold, and damp. Ice lotuses appeared at Hua Ying's feet, and then the entire surface of the Dragon King Cave was covered with frost. Seeing the method she used, Zhu Qingyu was slightly surprised. Although it was not a particularly powerful method, even she, at the Nascent Soul stage, could not change the surrounding environment in an instant.
A cyan light barrier blocked Qin Luo and his group's path. Zhu Qingyu said softly, "This is the restriction of the Dragon King Cave."
Hua Ying raised her hand and lightly touched the light screen in front of her with her index finger. The light screen rippled and dissipated like flowing light. Zhu Qingyu felt a large amount of spiritual matter rushing towards her.
Zhu Qingyu was shocked. Even the old sect master of the Green Mountain Sword Sect couldn't break the restriction, but Hua Ying opened it so easily. Just what kind of powerful person was she? She clutched her chest, thankful that she hadn't offended them.
The light screen disappeared, revealing a vast space. Snow-white dragon bones coiled in the cave, radiating a powerful aura. Golden stones were piled up like mountains. Zhu Qingyu exclaimed, "No wonder there is such abundant spiritual matter. It turns out the cave is full of such top-grade spirit stones."
If the Green Mountain Sword Sect possessed the resources here, it would rise to prominence in a short time and become a behemoth in the cultivation world. Zhu Qingyu quickly dismissed the idea in her mind.
Hua Ying smiled slightly and said softly, "Fairy Zhu, you can take some of the fortune here with you. Afterwards, I will have the Imperial Observatory take over this place."
Upon hearing this, Zhu Qingyu immediately guessed Hua Ying's identity. She bowed and said, "Thank you, Grand Preceptor."
Even with Hua Ying's permission, Zhu Qingyu dared not make a move, feeling as if she had fallen into an ice cave. Qin Luo smiled and said, "Fairy Zhu, everyone who sees this gets a share, so don't be shy."
Zhu Qingyu dared not look directly at Hua Ying, but Qin Luo made her feel at ease and no longer nervous. "Okay."
Qin Luo and Hua Ying walked deeper into the blessed land, where there were glowing crystal stones.
Only after they left did Zhu Qingyu dare to collect the spirit stones scattered on the ground. She also discovered that some of the spirit stones glowed red and their menacing aura could be felt even from a distance.
Zhu Qingyu picked up a blood-red spirit stone, her excitement overflowing. "This spirit stone contains dragon blood; it must be the legendary Dragon Blood Stone."
Dragon blood stone can transform cultivators, and consuming large amounts of dragon blood stone can achieve the effect of a carp leaping over the dragon gate.
Zhu Qingyu immediately searched the surrounding area for dragon blood stones.
Qin Luo looked around and saw many bronze pillars covered with ancient patterns. He said softly, "This is an ancient formation. These spirit stones were originally used to maintain the formation, but the formation has failed to function properly."
Hua Ying's eyes gleamed with golden light as she whispered, "Something must have changed."
At the center of the ancient formation was a golden pool containing abundant life energy. Hua Ying chuckled and said, "It's the True Dragon Pool. The life energy is so rich. Soaking in it might be good for you."
"No."
Qin Luo looked at the center of the golden pool, where a dark gray dragon egg, about half a zhang tall, lay at the bottom. The dragon egg had been petrified and was covered with cracks.
Hua Ying raised her hand, and the dragon egg floated up from the water. A wisp of light emerged from the crack of the dragon egg, eventually transforming into a small black dragon about the length of a chopstick. It looked left and right, glanced at Qin Luo, and then at Hua Ying.
Little Dragon blinked, his face showing an innocent expression, and said in a childish voice, "Daddy, Mommy!"
Hua Ying smiled as she looked at Qin Luo.
Qin Luo smiled and said softly, "Don't be afraid, we won't make things difficult for you."
"Father, what did you say?"
The little dragon tilted its head, stared with wide eyes, scratched its head with its tail, and looked completely bewildered.
Hua Ying's eyes turned cold as she said in a chilling voice, "If you continue to play dumb, I'll make sure your soul is scattered."
