evening.

The rosy clouds reflected on the white snow.

Niu Mang pulled a cart to Baiyun Town.

The streets were relatively quiet, not as lively as usual, with an elderly woman with white hair standing in the cold wind selling candied hawthorns.

"Grandma Liu, I'll take all the remaining candied hawthorns!"

"Thank you, Great Protector!"

The white-haired old woman's eyes were filled with gratitude. She usually didn't get home until after dark, when the wind and snow were heavy and the roads were very cold. Now that she was going home earlier, she could stay much warmer.

Little Tuanzi shared the candied hawthorns she bought with everyone. Ziyue only took one skewer. She used to love candied hawthorns, but she doesn't like them as much anymore.

Xiao Die was holding two strings of candied hawthorns, while Lin Jia'er and Xuan Qing were holding several strings of candied hawthorns.

Niu Mang pulled his cart to the wine shop, and the little dumpling grinned and said, "Old Xiao, I want five jars of wine."

"One jar of wine costs one hundred and twenty-five coins. Great Protector, you're a regular customer, so just give me six hundred coins!"

"Old Xiao, you're the most honest one."

"I'll get you some wine."

Old Xiao loaded the five jars of wine onto the oxcart.

The little dumpling pulled out a large number of copper coins from his pocket and said seriously, "Old Xiao, count them."

“I trust the Great Protector with my business dealings, no need to count.” Old Xiao waved his hand, then took the coins away.

Let's go!

The little dumpling hugged the wine and laughed loudly.

Niu Mang pulled the cart, chasing the sunset, while Xiao Tuanzi and the others sat on the cart eating candied hawthorns.

Zi Yue looked at the little dumpling and blinked. "Great Protector, you've worked hard all day just to buy wine?"

The little dumpling waved his hands repeatedly and said seriously, "No, it's all because Niu Mang wanted to drink. I mainly wanted to buy candied hawthorns for everyone. Niu Mang, don't you think so?"

Niu Mang shook his head repeatedly, "Little Fairy, I don't drink. It's Ma Hu and Xiong Shan who want to drink. If you don't believe me, ask the Great Protector!"

"Ah, yes, yes, yes!"

The little dumpling beamed with joy.

Ziyue smiled and nodded, knowing full well that they were lying, but she didn't expose them.

Niu Mang parked the cart at the foot of Luoxia Peak.

Zi Yue led Lin Jia'er and the others up the mountain. The little dumpling leaned close to Niu Mang's ear and whispered, "You guys have to leave some for me, don't finish it all!"

"Absolutely!"

Niu Mang pulled the cart away.

Back at Longhu Temple, Lin Jia'er handed Jinjiao a candied hawthorn, and Jinjiao wagged his tail happily.

Lin Jia'er excitedly ran into the Taoist temple.

"Uncle Jin Yan!"

"Aunt Caixia!"

"These are candied hawthorns that the Great Protector is treating you to!"

"Thank you, Jia'er!"

"You should thank the Great Protector!"

"Yes, thank you, Great Protector."

Lin Jia'er brought candied hawthorns to Qin Luo, "Uncle Qin, these are candied hawthorns that the Great Protector bought for you."

"Thanks."

Qin Luo took the candied hawthorn.

Lin Jia'er ran deep into the Taoist temple.

"Grandmaster, it's time to eat candied hawthorns."

Zhang Fulong was awakened by Lin Jia'er. He came outside with a smile in his eyes, "Thank you, Jia'er! You still remember your grandmaster! Grandmaster is very pleased!"

"Grandmaster, this was bought by the Great Protector!"

"You should learn from the Great Protector."

"I've got it!"

Lin Jia'er left with a smile.

Qin Luo looked at the little dumpling and the others, and said with a smile, "Look at you all, how dark you've gotten."

"hey-hey."

The little dumpling grinned and said, "Jia'er, the Great Protector will take you for a hot bath."

"Uh-huh."

Lin Jia'er nodded happily.

The little girl poured the snow from the yard into the wooden tub in the room. She put her hand in, and the snow melted, soon steam rose from the water. Taking a bath in winter is incredibly comfortable.

With Xiao Tuanzi and Xiao Die taking care of Lin Jia'er, Qin Luo was very relaxed. He handed the candied hawthorn to Zi Yue and said with a smile, "Junior Sister, this is for you."

Zi Yue smiled sweetly, "Thank you, Senior Brother!"

......

late at night.

All was silent.

Qin Luo opened his eyes.

He sensed a powerful pressure.

Qin Luo appeared outside the Taoist temple.

A streak of fire came from afar. Qin Luo looked at Zhu Xian standing on the back of the fire phoenix. She was wearing golden and red soft armor, standing with her hands behind her back. Her golden eyes were sharp, and her appearance was beautiful and imposing.

Zhu Xian leaped and landed outside the Taoist temple.

Wu Xuantian stepped out from the door god image and bowed respectfully, saying, "Greetings, Empress!"

Zhu Xian nodded slightly.

Golden Horn poked half its head out, saw it was Zhu Xian, then pulled its head back in, pretending not to see it, and continued sleeping.

Qin Luo looked at the dashing Zhu Xian and asked, "Should I call you A Zhu, or Empress?"

"You can call me whatever you want."

Zhu Xian raised an eyebrow. "What? I've come all this way, and you're not even going to invite me in for a while?"

Qin Luo smiled slightly, "They're all resting. I'll accompany you for a stroll in the Purple Cloud Mountains."

"You're so considerate, no wonder Ying'er likes you."

Zhu Xian wanted to see Qin Luo's reaction, so she frowned slightly and said, "Can't you give me any reaction?"

She's fine!

Qin Luo said earnestly.

Zhu Xian curled her lips, "It's too late for you to regret it. Ying'er has already left, and you may never see her again."

Qin Luo said softly, "If we are destined never to meet again, the willows along the Bai Causeway will weep countless times."

"What's the meaning?"

"I'm just very sad."

"So at least you have some conscience."

"I was hoping to wait for her to come and see the snow."

"I will accompany you to see the snow."

"There will be snowfalls again in the future."

"So pretentious."

Qin Luo and Zhu Xian left Luoxia Peak.

Several powerful auras emanated from around Luoxia Peak; these were experts brought by Zhu Xian, hidden in the shadows.
