Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
Yujing Mountain.
The highest immortal mountain in the Great Luo Heaven.
It is a sacred place that cultivators dream of.
The mountains are shrouded in mist and glowing with rosy light. The White Jade Temple sits atop the mountain, like a star in the sky.
A golden fairy ship was docked near Yujing Mountain.
Qin Luo left Zhong Quan on the fairy ship and went to the foot of the mountain alone to show that he had no hostility.
Surrounded by towering mountains, Yujing Mountain is far from the hustle and bustle of the world. The mountain is quiet and secluded. Qin Luo had only walked a hundred steps when he encountered a boy kneeling on the steps, struggling to crawl.
Mount Yujing is protected by a restriction, which becomes stronger the closer one gets to the summit. Ordinary cultivators cannot approach this place, let alone ordinary people.
The boy was dressed in rags and was thin. There were long bloodstains on the steps. Even in such a sorry state, he did not give up and gritted his teeth to climb up.
When Qin Luo walked to his side, the boy raised his head with difficulty. He saw Qin Luo with his white hair flowing down his back, looking like a celestial being from legend. He quickly lowered his head and said tremblingly, "Are you a celestial master from Baiyu Temple?"
Qin Luo shook his head, "I come from Longhu Temple."
"Dragon and Tiger Temple?"
The young man had never heard of the Dragon Tiger Temple, but he thought Qin Luo in front of him was very powerful, and he said respectfully, "Immortal Master, can you take me as your disciple?"
Qin Luo asked softly, "Why do you want to cultivate?"
The boy kowtowed and said, "Immortal Master, I wish to live forever."
"to be honest."
Qin Luo said in a deep voice.
The boy clenched his fists, lowered his head, and said, "Why is the immortal race so high and mighty while we can only be slaves and servants? I want to overthrow them. I beg the immortal master to take me as his disciple."
Qin Luo said softly, "I'm sorry, I don't accept disciples. But I can teach you a set of health-preserving boxing techniques. Would you like to learn?"
"think!"
"I want to learn!"
The boy kowtowed deeply.
He was unwilling to give up any opportunity.
Qin Luo squatted down and rubbed the boy's forehead. "If you truly embark on the path of cultivation in the future, I hope you can punish evil and promote good, and not become the person you hate the most."
"I will heed the teachings of the Immortal Master!"
The boy nodded with a determined look in his eyes.
Qin Luo got up and walked up the mountain. The boy touched his forehead and found that the wound on his forehead had healed. A white-clad figure appeared in his mind, practicing the Health Preservation Fist.
"Truly worthy of being a Celestial Master!"
"Thank you for your guidance, Immortal Master. If I, Yang Lin, ever rise to prominence, I will certainly repay your kindness!"
Along the way, Qin Luo encountered many cultivators who came to Baiyu Temple to seek the Dao. Some sat on the steps to cultivate, while others knelt on the steps to pray. They did not notice Qin Luo.
Along the mountain path are many strangely shaped stones with various inscriptions, the most common being "So-and-so was here." Many names are now blurred, clearly left by cultivators seeking immortality.
Qin Luo came across a passage in the mountains that resonated with him: "Cultivation is not a solitary journey. Rather than severing worldly ties, it is better to comprehend the Dao in the mortal world. The Great Dao may not be on Jade Capital Mountain, but I still hope that future Daoist friends will reach even greater heights."
“If the Great Dao you seek is at Baiyu Temple, you will not be turned away by him.”
Qin Luo murmured softly.
Many seekers of the Dao left behind their life's insights in the mountains, hoping they would be of use to future seekers. Qin Luo looked at their insights and legacy, a smile in his eyes, and said softly, "This is the Dao, and this Dao is even higher!"
Qin Luo inscribed meditation breathing techniques and health-preserving boxing in the blank spaces, hoping to help future seekers of the Dao.
Not long after, Qin Luo reached the summit of the mountain and saw the magnificent Baiyu Temple. A group of young disciples dressed in white stood outside the temple, holding magic swords and exuding an imposing aura.
The young Taoist priest holding a whisk stood in the center. When he saw Qin Luo, he remained calm and smiled, saying, "Taoist Master Qin, please forgive me for not greeting you sooner."
Qin Luo cupped his hands in greeting, "Years ago, you invited me to visit Baiyu Temple. I happened to have some free time recently, and since I heard that Baiyu Temple is a legitimate Taoist temple, I came to take a look."
Back in the capital of the Great Xia Dynasty, Daozi Jiming saw that Qin Luo was seriously injured, so he invited him to visit Baiyu Temple.
Ji Ming couldn't see through Qin Luo at all right now. He smiled and extended his hand, "Master Qin, please come in."
Qin Luo followed Ji Ming into the Taoist temple. The temple was spotless, and the ground was paved with star stones, which were indestructible and had ancient patterns, indicating that it was an extremely ancient killing formation.
Ji Ming said with a smile, "Master Qin, my master has left on business. Please come with me to the tea room to rest."
Qin Luo looked towards the main hall, where incense was burning brightly. He smiled and said softly, "Fellow Daoist, since Baiyu Temple is the orthodox sect of Taoism, who do you worship?"
Ji Ming raised an eyebrow and said, "What we worship is the divine stone. Our master said it is the divine stone from which one was born and established."
"Can I go in and take a look?"
"certainly."
Ji Ming didn't pay any attention.
Qin Luo entered the main hall where the sacred stone was enshrined. The stone was hollow inside, and golden mist swirled around it.
"Is this a fragment of the Heavenly Dao?"
Qin Luo murmured softly, looking at the divine stone high above and sensing the aura of the Heavenly Dao, "So it was Him!"
Who is it?
Ji Ming was somewhat puzzled.
Boom!
The earth and sky shook violently!
The great battle outside the heavens affected the Great Luo Heaven.
As Qin Luo left the main hall of the Taoist temple, he looked towards the outer heavens. In the depths of the starry sky, when two towering figures collided, ripples spread through the space, and nearby stars shattered one after another.
Hua Ying formed a hand seal with her slender hands, her eyes cold as she said, "Destroy!"
Time around the Dao Venerable was frozen, space was distorted and shattered, and various rules of power instantly bombarded him. A magnificent flower of death bloomed deep in the starry sky.
The powerful figures watching from beyond the heavens felt a chill run down their spines; it was a force they could not contend with.
