Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
"New guy, get up and get to work!"
It was early morning, before dawn.
The little dumpling chirped and chattered.
Hua Ying was awakened by the noise. She opened her eyes and looked out the window, where there was still a thick fog.
"The boss asked me to keep an eye on you."
"You'd better listen to me from now on."
The little dumpling held its head high, looking down on the world with disdain.
Hua Ying changed into a simple white Taoist robe. The robe was a bit big and quite old, but it had a faint fragrance. She thought of the scent on the young Taoist priest, and her pretty face gradually warmed up.
"Hurry up and chop the firewood!"
The little dumpling urged.
After leaving the room, Hua Ying saw Qin Luo sitting cross-legged on the platform cultivating, and couldn't help but glance at him a few more times.
Hua Ying went outside the kitchen to chop firewood. She was a cultivator, and even though her power was sealed, her physical strength was not weak. This kind of physical work was easy for her.
"You also need to start a fire, boil water, and make ginger soup."
"I won't."
"I'll teach you."
Qin Luo went to the kitchen.
Hua Ying looked at Qin Luo with her beautiful eyes and said, "You can finish these tasks with a little magic, why waste your time?"
Qin Luo was drilling wood to make fire, the most primitive way of starting a fire. "Master often reminds us that in cultivating immortality and comprehending the Dao, we must not be obsessed with techniques, let alone rely on them."
"All right."
Hua Ying did not refute.
After all, she was no match for the master and his apprentice.
"Do you know how to make ginger soup?"
"Won't."
"It's very simple."
Qin Luo patiently taught her how to do chores.
After brewing ginger soup, Hua Ying took a broom and swept the snow in the backyard, while Qin Luo broke off a peach branch from a tree.
"Give."
"ah?"
Hua Ying pursed her lips.
What does the young Taoist priest want to do?
Does he like me?
Qin Luo smiled and said softly, "This is a Taoist temple, so you need to be mindful of your appearance. Put your hair up in a bun."
Hua Ying pouted.
"And what about you?"
"You can't be like me."
Hua Ying took the peach branch with a blossom attached. She gathered her long, light purple hair and secured it with the branch, giving her a more mature and elegant look. Her tall figure was only half a head shorter than Qin Luo's, and her loose Taoist robe could not hide her proud chest.
She looked up.
But they found that Qin Luo had already gone far away.
What was I thinking just now? Hua Ying shook her head abruptly.
"Sweep the floor right now!"
The little dumpling stood on the peach tree giving directions.
Hua Ying swept the snow with a broom. After getting up, Zi Yue and Jin Yan didn't have to do any work, so they had a lot of free time. After washing up, they would stretch their muscles in the yard.
Qin Luo opened the gate of the Taoist temple and watched Golden Horn running through the mountains, its five tails sweeping the snow quickly.
Jinjiao is accustomed to life at Longhu Temple.
A figure arrived on a sword.
Qin Luo saw Tang Yao wearing a white dress.
Tang Yao landed in front of the Taoist temple and asked respectfully, "Fellow Daoist, is there trouble at Longhu Temple?"
"What trouble?"
Qin Luo's eyes were filled with curiosity.
"The Imperial Preceptor's disciple discovered the River Goddess you appointed. She has returned to the capital, and the Imperial Observatory will definitely investigate this matter."
"fine."
Qin Luo smiled.
I thought it was something serious.
Huaying took a broom and went to the front yard to sweep the snow.
When Tang Yao saw Hua Ying dressed in an old Taoist robe, she couldn't believe her eyes and rubbed them.
When Hua Ying saw Tang Yao, she thought she was there to see her and, fearing that Tang Yao would cause trouble, gestured for her to leave quickly.
Tang Yao was a little confused.
She flew away from Longhu Temple on her sword.
Qin Luo watched Tang Yao leave and chuckled, "She even came to tip us off. This girl is quite nice."
Back at the Taoist temple, Qin Luo watched Hua Ying sweep the snow and praised her with a smile, "Not bad, you swept it very clean."
Receiving Qin Luo's praise made Hua Ying feel inexplicably happy, and even sweeping became more motivating. Looking at the empty front yard, she wondered, "Why doesn't Longhu Temple even have a cauldron?"
Qin Luo smiled slightly, "There used to be one, but later a senior brother thought the cauldron was very valuable, so he carried it away and ran away."
Flower shadows seem really fun.
"Is your master angry?"
"Of course he was angry, but it was no use. The following month, the temple bell was taken away by a female disciple."
Hua Ying covered her mouth with her slender hand.
She forced herself not to laugh out loud.
Qin Luo remarked with emotion, "When I leave in the future, I might take something with me as a souvenir."
After saying that, Qin Luo went to the backyard to cultivate, while Hua Ying continued sweeping the floor, cleaning the Taoist temple spotless.
The sun rises.
The Taoist temple became lively.
Hua Ying stood in the front yard with nothing to do. Qin Luo saw that she was very relaxed and said softly, "The people have come from afar and the weather is cold. Please bring them a bowl of ginger soup."
"good!"
Hua Ying gritted her teeth. She had never served tea to her master, yet she was being forced to serve tea to ordinary people. She had just been somewhat fond of the young Taoist priest, so why was she being bullied like this?
"Be polite and smile."
Hua Ying's lips curled up slightly.
That's it.
...
evening.
The flower shadows can finally take a break.
She worked at Longhu Temple from the moment she woke up in the morning until evening without taking a break.
"Senior, I want to go skiing!"
"Go."
"Sister, are you going?"
"I'm not going."
Hua Ying just wanted to sit and rest for a while.
I'm leaving!
Ziyue ran very fast.
She vanished in the blink of an eye.
Hua Ying was somewhat envious of Zi Yue, who had to cultivate, work, and even find time to go out and play every day.
Jin Yan is cultivating in a Taoist temple.
He looked at the landscape painting hanging on the peach tree.
Hua Ying looked at the landscape painting and sensed that it was no ordinary painting. Qin Luo looked at her and asked, "What kind of person is your master?"
