Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
Early spring, the sun shines brightly.
In the mountains and forests, there are many flower buds on the trees, waiting to bloom.
Qin Luo was dressed in a clean white Taoist robe, with his long hair flowing down, looking like a banished immortal. As he passed through the woods, the flower buds on the trees bloomed one after another, and in the blink of an eye, hundreds of flowers were in full bloom.
The little dumpling nestled on Qin Luo's shoulder. It was very excited at first, chirping incessantly, but now it's sleeping soundly.
Qin Luo was preparing to go to Linjiang Town. He had never been on a boat before and wanted to experience it.
Linjiang Town is located southwest of Luoxia Peak. As Qin Luo walked through the mountains and forests, he would occasionally encounter villagers farming in the mountains, and they would greet him and exchange a few words.
The main questions are: where he comes from, where he is going, and what he is going to do.
After leaving the mountains, Qin Luo passed through a small village. The village had many large dogs, which started barking fiercely when they saw strangers.
They are all mongrels used for guarding the house.
Qin Luo ignored him.
The little dumpling was woken up by the dog's barking and cried out at the top of its lungs, "Try barking again!"
A group of stray dogs were intimidated by its imposing presence.
Qin Luo tapped its head with his finger.
"Boss, why did you hit me?"
"Figure it out yourself!"
The little dumpling tilted its head, unable to understand, "I just can't figure it out!"
After leaving the village, Qin Luo walked onto a country path. Along the way, he saw free-range chickens and ducks, children playing in the mud, children picking snails by the fields, and some daring children digging out beehives with sticks.
Aren't you afraid of getting stung?
Qin Luo inquired.
Upon hearing the young Taoist's voice, the child who was about to disturb the beehive was startled. He didn't answer and turned and ran away in a panic.
The little dumpling stuck out its tuft of hair, "Thank goodness it wasn't a bird's nest, or he'd be in big trouble!"
Qin Luo nodded.
Unruly children need to be educated.
At noon, he saw a heavy aura of malevolence in the distant mountains. Qin Luo decided to go and take a look. The village at the foot of the mountain was unusually quiet. Qin Luo found an old man plowing the field.
"Old man, where is this place?"
The old man in the field looked up and, seeing Qin Luo's attire, respectfully said, "Master Dao, this is Niujiao Mountain, Huangyan Village."
"I see the village is very deserted. Has some evil spirit been causing trouble lately?"
The old man sighed, “Master, there is a wolf god on Ox Horn Mountain that often eats children, causing many people to move away, leaving only us old folks with no one to rely on.”
"I'll go up the mountain and take a look."
"Master Dao, you must be careful. That wolf god is very powerful. A few years ago, one of the old Daoist priests we invited was eaten by the wolf god."
"I will be careful."
Qin Luo walked towards Niujiao Mountain.
There was a dilapidated mountain god temple on the mountain, surrounded by bones. Qin Luo frowned, some of the bones clearly belonging to children. "You wretched creature!"
The wolf demon in the temple sensed danger.
Boom!
A bolt of lightning struck the mountain god's temple.
The mountain god temple was razed to the ground, the wolf god was crushed into dust, and the old man tilling the land at the foot of the mountain was so frightened by the noise in the mountains that his legs trembled.
Before long, Qin Luo returned to the foot of the mountain. "Old man, the wolf demon has been eliminated. I have set up a magic array on the mountain, so no monsters will approach here in the future."
"Thank you, Daoist Master!"
The old man wanted to kneel down, but was lifted up by an invisible force.
evening.
The sun is setting.
Qin Luo walked on the "blade" mountain, the shape of which resembled a long blade. The mountaintop was very narrow, with the narrowest point only wide enough for one foot, yet he walked as if on flat ground.
The mountains rise and fall, with layers upon layers of peaks.
Looking out, Qin Luo saw the Luo River meandering like a slender dragon, stretching all the way to the horizon.
Ahead lies Linjiang Town, with its blue bricks and gray tiles, resembling a traditional Chinese ink painting.
Linjiang Town was bustling with activity, with merchants, knights-errant, and travelers coming and going.
When Qin Luo arrived in the town, he was otherworldly and a fiery red sparrow perched on his shoulder, yet few of the surrounding people noticed his presence.
After passing through Linjiang Town, Qin Luo arrived at the ferry crossing.
There were many vendors and people gathered outside the ferry crossing to watch the excitement. Little Dumpling loved excitement, so it flapped its wings and flew over. Qin Luo, having nothing else to do, also went over.
A middle-aged man dressed in black was performing a knife dance for money. He twirled the knife with one hand, making beautiful knife flourishes with graceful movements. He tossed the spinning long knife into the air and kicked the hilt, sending the knife soaring high into the air and spinning around, eliciting gasps of amazement.
As the long sword fell, the middle-aged man in black turned around and kicked out, sending the long sword flying even higher.
"good!"
The onlookers applauded.
The middle-aged man in black caught the falling longsword, swung it a few times, and finally sheathed it. His movements were graceful and fluid, drawing cheers from the crowd. Even Qin Luo applauded for him.
"Gentlemen, if you have money, please support me financially! I am Wu the God of Slaughter, and I thank you all in advance!" The middle-aged man in black clasped his hands in a salute.
Wu Shashen held up his straw hat, and the crowd quickly dispersed. Only a few people took out a copper coin or two to give to him, while others simply threw the coins on the ground.
As Wu Shashen bent down to pick up the copper coins, Qin Luo took out two copper coins and put them in his straw hat.
"Thank you, Daoist Master!"
Wu Shashen bowed and thanked him.
He had three menacing claw marks on his forehead.
Qin Luo smiled and said, "Brother Wu, I see that your martial arts are superb, so why are you wandering?"
Wu Shashen stood up and said loudly, "I don't like a life of following the rules; I prefer to wander the world."
"Chu mi!"
The little dumpling nodded in agreement.
Wu Shashen looked at the little dumpling with great affection. "Daoist Master, the bird you raise seems to be very intelligent. A few years ago, I met a master whose bird could even talk."
"He's just a bit mischievous."
Qin Luo chuckled.
The little dumpling tilted its head.
