Upon hearing Bai Yi's words, Qi Chong seemed to realize something, his eyes instantly becoming alert as he quickly scanned his surroundings.

Sure enough, one person was missing!

That most inconspicuous little brat!

"Damn it, we've fallen for their trap!"

While Bai Yi was distracting Qi Chong, Xuan Ye had already stealthily made his way to the front of the evil cultivators' base.

Once you enter their headquarters, you'll find out exactly what these evil cultivators are up to.

"You five divine beasts would resort to such underhanded methods?" Qi Chong laughed angrily.

Bai Yi's smile became even more genuine, "You flatter me, you evil cultivators are not bad either."

"Stop that damned kid!" Qi Chong angrily ordered the other evil cultivators.

"What's the rush? Weren't you just getting along really well with me? How could you fall for someone else so quickly? I'm so heartbroken."

Bai Yi feigned crying twice, then teleported in front of Qi Chong, who was about to chase Xuan Ye, and blocked him with his hand. He then tripped another evil cultivator with his foot.

"You'd better give me an explanation today, or you won't be leaving."

"What kind of skill is it to bully children?" The other three also came to the evil cultivators, and the four of them together blocked the ten evil cultivators.

The evil cultivators who had fought Xuan Ye before wanted to vomit blood after hearing their words.

The kid they're talking about broke several of his ribs with one punch. Who's bullying whom here?

In the midst of the chaotic battle, one of the evil cultivators finally broke through the encirclement of Qi Yan and the others, rushing anxiously to Xuan Ye's side.

Xuan Ye was busy destroying the barrier outside the evil cultivator's base and was concentrating on his work when he was disturbed like this, which made him feel irritated.

Without even glancing at the evil cultivator, he tossed out a piece of tortoise shell, smashing the evil cultivator so hard that he was embedded deep in the ground.

"Get out of my way!"

The evil cultivator looked at Qi Chong, wanting to cry but having no tears.

It's really not his fault. Who would have thought that such a little kid would be the most powerful among the five divine beasts?

"Useless!" Qi Chong gritted his teeth in anger.

Soon, Xuan Ye tore open the barrier and entered the evil cultivator's base.

Watching Xuan Ye disappear into the darkness, Zhu Yu and the others breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Now all that's left is to wait for Xuan Ye's good news.

"Kids are just a bit mischievous. I hope you won't mind if I come to your house for a visit?" Bai Yi raised an eyebrow at Qi Chong in front of him.

"Tch." Qi Chong revealed a cryptic smile, as if he was furious. Without saying anything more, he charged towards Bai Yi.

The evil cultivator's base was filled with strange gas, which even the several layers of flame shields surrounding Xuan Ye could not block.

He didn't have much time left, and the others couldn't hold off that group of evil cultivators for long.

Despite the excruciating pain from the corrosive gases, he searched rapidly within the base.

"Once we find that furnace, we'll know what those evil cultivators are up to!"

The chances of victory for the cultivation world will increase significantly!

Outside the base, the evil cultivators' offensive became increasingly fierce.

It didn't seem like they wanted to break through their encirclement; it seemed more like they wanted to take their lives directly.

The group realized that something seemed amiss.

"Perfect, then let's take advantage of the fact that you're missing one person and finish you off right here!" Qi Chong's eyes were fierce.

Several people wondered if the heretical cultivator had given up entirely.

Before they could think any further, Xuan Ye had already rushed out of the base.

His face looked rather pale, and he said to the group, "The stove is gone!"

The smiles on Qi Chong's and the other evil cultivators' faces widened in response; the furnace was no longer in the base.

So when they saw Xuan Ye enter the base, they stopped worrying and instead focused their attacks on the other five divine beasts.

"Don't look at me like that. We didn't put the furnace away and carry it with us."

"Look how angry you all are. Didn't you say you'd soon know all our plans?" Qi Chong clicked his tongue and shook his head.

"Guess where that furnace went?"

"Here's a hint: whoever I hate most in the cultivation world, that's the person my furnace is currently with."

Who else could Qi Chong hate the most besides Shen Sangri?

The five men's expressions changed, becoming even more unpleasant than when they learned there were no furnaces in the base.

Qi Chong never gave up targeting Shen Sangruo; he truly hated her deeply.

Seemingly anticipating that they would be unable to escape to rescue Shen Sangruo, Qi Chong directly revealed everything.

“I handed the furnace over to another near-god-like evil cultivator. You don’t know this, do you? This person’s greatest skill is concealment and disguise. He can definitely appear next to Shen Sangruo without anyone noticing.”

"I imagine we're almost at your third line of defense by now."

Another near-divine heretical cultivator? There are eleven near-divine heretical cultivators in total?!

The group realized that the evil cultivators had deliberately made it appear that there were only ten near-god level evil cultivators, in order to use the extra evil cultivator's special ability to let him break through their defenses!

Looking at the expressions on their faces, Qi Chong felt extremely pleased.

"Unfortunately, you are tied up here by us, and those people on the second line of defense are also too busy to help themselves. I'm afraid no one can save Shen Sangruo, whom you are so eager to save."

"Please accept my condolences. At least you saw her one last time..."

Qi Chong's words were interrupted by the five men's furious attack.

Meeting the murderous glare in everyone's eyes, Qi Chong's gaze also turned cold.

"Take action! We cannot let a single one escape!"

He wanted them to know everything, but he could only watch helplessly as Shen Sangri died in front of them!
