Yu Mo Wan lived for twenty years before discovering she was the fake daughter of the Yu family. The real daughter was brought home, and she was driven out of the house.
Upon being found by he...
Shu Mowan's face flushed instantly.
As beautiful as peach blossoms, nothing could compare.
Si Tingyu was momentarily lost in thought as he watched her pretty face turn pink.
He acted faster than reason, instinctively heading towards Shu Mowan's red lips.
When Shu Mowan saw that he was so bold, her first thought was not to run away, but what she should do if he really kissed her, should she meet him or dodge away?
Just as she was struggling with this dilemma, it was Si Tingyu who stopped her.
Their lips were just centimeters apart from touching.
Si Tingyu took two steps back and said apologetically, "Wanwan, I'm sorry, I lost control. I didn't scare you, did I?"
Shu Mowan pretended to straighten her clothes and hair, cleared her throat, and said somewhat awkwardly, "Brother Si, I'll forgive you this time since you didn't do it on purpose. Don't do it again next time, or I really won't talk to you anymore."
She despised herself. She had clearly agreed to focus on her career and not date, but now she was being seduced by Si Tingyu, and even hesitated to avoid his kiss.
If I wait any longer, I'll really be in trouble.
My head hurts.
Si Tingyu looked down at her, fearlessly saying, "Ke Wanwan, what should I do? I still want to kiss you next time?"
Upon hearing this, Shu Mowan's heart skipped a beat again.
She cursed herself for being spineless and was both ashamed and angry at Si Tingyu's audacity. She glared at him and got into the passenger seat.
I was about to drive when I remembered that the car belonged to Si Tingyu.
"Wanwan, the key."
Si Tingyu got into the passenger seat, obediently handed over the keys, and gently and patiently coaxed, "I was wrong. I shouldn't have said I wanted to kiss you again. Please don't be angry, okay?"
However, despite saying that, he still wanted to kiss her next time he had the chance.
As Shu Mowan listened to his gentle coaxing, her anger gradually subsided.
"I'm fine now, I'm not angry anymore."
She inserted the key and addressed Si Tingyu.
Si Tingyu breathed a sigh of relief.
He was still quite worried that the girl would get really angry and ignore him for a long time.
He would be extremely annoyed if he lost more than he gained just for a kiss.
Back at the Shu family home, Shu Mowan parked the car.
"Brother Si, I'm leaving now."
After saying goodbye to Si Tingyu, she left cleanly and decisively.
Si Tingyu watched her departing figure and smiled helplessly.
It seems his little girl is still a bit angry; she doesn't even want to talk to him much.
Oh well, I'll just buy some fun little trinkets tomorrow and keep trying to appease her.
Several days later, Xiao Jiyu mobilized all his resources and, together with Si Tingyu and the connections of the five Shu brothers, finally uncovered Fu Rong's secret that she had kept hidden for many years.
All evidence proves that Shu Xueyin is indeed Fu Rong's biological granddaughter.
Shu Chuxiao is indeed not Fu Rong's son.
"Dad, you and Mom can go home now."
Shu Mowan called Shu Chuxiao and said.
Previously, fearing that Fu Rong would pester Shu Chuxiao to save Shu Xueyin, she told him to leave first and come back after things were dealt with.
After hanging up the phone, Shu Mowan looked at the evidence in her hand again, and gave a half-mocking smile.
Although she guessed that Shu Chuxiao might not be Fu Rong's son, she only thought that he was the child left behind by her grandfather's first wife.
Grandpa probably worried that the child wouldn't be close to Fu Rong, so he erased the evidence of her original wife, making Shu Chuxiao believe that he was her child.
Unexpectedly, Grandpa really only had one wife, Fu Rong. When she married into the Shu family, she couldn't get pregnant for a long time. After going to the hospital for a checkup, she was told that she had suffered a difficult childbirth and severe bleeding, which caused her health problems and made it difficult for her to get pregnant in the future. So she came up with the idea of having the family's servants help her get pregnant.
She got her grandfather drunk, then gave him an aphrodisiac, and made him have sex with the maid. Fearing this wouldn't work, she also collected his sperm, thinking that if that didn't work, she would try IVF.
To my surprise, Grandpa succeeded on his first try.
After the maid became pregnant, Fu Rong took her to a villa under her name and imprisoned her. She also told her grandfather that she was pregnant.
Ten months later, Shu Chuxiao was carried to Fu Rong's side.
"Brother, I didn't know Grandma was quite adventurous when she was young."
After reviewing all the evidence, Shu Lingyin smiled sarcastically.
No wonder Fu Rong insisted on recognizing Shu Xueyin as her adopted granddaughter under the guise of repaying a debt of gratitude; it turns out she really is her biological granddaughter.
“If I were her, I would boldly bring his eldest son in and tell Grandpa that this is his child.”
He pinched his chin and continued to mock.
Shu Lingduan scoffed: "Second brother, Grandpa was young and strong back then. He wasn't so blind as to not be able to tell the difference between a one-year-old child and a newborn."
"Just kidding."
Shu Lingyin shrugged.
"Big brother, our grandmother is still alive, should we bring her back to live with us?"
Shu Lingxian asked.
Shu Lingyi pondered for a moment, "Let's test his character first."
Don't welcome back a woman with the same wicked intentions as Fu Rong, or she'll throw the Shu family into chaos again.
Shu Lingxian thought it made sense.
Shu Chuxiao and Yun Yun were already staying not far from home, so they rushed back as soon as they received Shu Mowan's call.
"Dad, take a look."
Shu Mowan handed the evidence to Shu Chuxiao.
He is a party involved and has the right to know who his father was.
Shu Chuxiao took the evidence with a bewildered look and looked down at it. When he had almost finished reading it, his fingers began to tremble uncontrollably.
Fu Rong was not his mother.
Although he could sense from a young age that Fu Rong didn't like him that much, and sometimes she would even get angry for no reason, he never doubted that he wasn't her child.
Now that the evidence is in front of him, all the previous inconsistencies make sense.
This also explains why Fu Rong was so protective of Shu Xueyin, who was biased towards her.
