As they chatted, John Lu approached Wan Yu again. Julia's eyes narrowed, and she suddenly sighed softly.

Mrs. John looked at her suspiciously, "Why are you sighing all of a sudden?"

“I just feel sorry for John Road.”

Julia said quietly.

Mrs. John frowned: "What do you mean?"

"Has Madam seen that woman?"

Julia pointed at Shu Mowan and said.

"What's wrong with her?"

Mrs. John said.

John was interested in pursuing her, but she said yes to his face...yes...

Julia deliberately hesitated, looking troubled.

Mrs. John grew impatient. "What is it? Just tell me."

“He said John Road was a country bumpkin and didn’t deserve her at all, and told him to get lost.”

Julia sighed as she spoke, "I was so angry for John when I heard that, but he was like he was under her spell. Even when he was being insulted, he still had the nerve to go and do it. No matter how I tried to persuade him, he wouldn't listen."
