A modern Feng Shui master and fortune teller, Lin Wanyue, is transported by a car accident to a dynasty not recorded in history, becoming a three-year-old baby abandoned in a mass grave.
The ...
Suddenly, a sound like the earth shaking came from the woods.
"Is there a possible earthquake? Daddy, should we run?" Lin Wanyue looked at her father with some doubt.
"Uh..." Lin Weiming looked bewildered, but without any disgust, he scratched his head with his dirty hands and said, "But I've never heard of an earth dragon turning over in our place."
But such a terrifying commotion does indeed resemble the earth dragon turning over as described in books.
However, Lin Weiming and Lin Wanyue quickly understood what was going on...
Because they saw a huge wild boar charging towards them in the distance.
"Oh my."
Lin Wanyue's mouth slowly and unconsciously opened wide.
Laifu had just finished speaking when he arrived?
That's fast!
"Holy crap! This wild boar is huge!" Lin Weiming didn't hesitate at all, ignoring his daughter's disgust, and scooped her up in his arms, while also grabbing Lin Diao Diao who was standing next to him.
Such a huge wild boar is truly a rare sight!
We can't win. We simply can't win.
Lin Wanyue's eyes widened in shock as her father pulled her into his arms, and she didn't even have time to notice.
What kind of wild boar is this?
This looks exactly like a baby elephant!
How can a wild boar grow to be so big?
However, this wild boar did not have a long nose like most wild boars. Although its nose was quite long, what was more eye-catching were the two tusks next to its nose that looked like scimitars.
With such huge fangs, if she were to get poked even once, they could probably string her and her father together.
"Laifu." Lin Wanyue, clinging to Lin Weiming's shoulder as he pulled her along, mouthed to Laifu beside her, "Go!"
"Alright!" Laifu quickly floated onto the wild boar's back and patted it all over.
The wild boar, already covered in mud, now exuded an even thicker black aura, making it look even more frightening!
This wild boar had a terrible temper; it grunted from its nose, emitted a foul odor, and scratched the ground twice with one hoof.
By gathering strength, it can leap up with a powerful tug from its large hind legs.
It rushed towards Lin Weiming at top speed.
Unfortunately, the wild boar that Laifu had touched was extremely unlucky. Despite its immense strength, it not only failed to hit Lin Weiming, but also, due to inertia, stuck its two huge tusks into an old tree.
Wild boar: "???"
I don't understand!
It desperately tried to free its fangs, its entire body trembling, its tiny, beady eyes fixed on Lin Weiming and Lin Wanyue, as if it would kill them the moment it pulled out its fangs.
Lin Weiming regretted it as he ran.
I should have dug that trap deeper and bigger, so that I could have easily led the wild boar there.
But it was too late for regrets now. The trap he had dug was simply not enough to deal with this huge wild boar, so he could only desperately try to escape.
Suddenly, the wild boar let out a mournful cry that echoed through the mountains.
Lin Weiming didn't dare to turn around, but Lin Wanyue, perched on his shoulder, could see everything clearly.
It turned out that the wild boar had a terrible temper, and at the same time, it was so strong that it managed to break off a pair of its own tusks.
Blood splattered all over the ground.
Lin Wanyue felt pain just looking at it; her fair and soft face scrunched up in pain.
"Father, the wild boar's tusks are broken..." Lin Wanyue whispered in Lin Weiming's ear, "It shouldn't come looking for us again, right?"
"That's hard to say." But Lin Weiming didn't think so, and he ran even faster. "Wild boars are the most vengeful creatures."
No sooner had he finished speaking than the wild boar took off charging towards the two of them relentlessly.
"But we don't even know it, so why does it keep chasing us?" Lin Wanyue was also a little confused.
Lin Weiming, panting as he ran, didn't forget to educate his daughter: "Wild boars are very territorial. When they smell our scent, they think we must be intruders, so they will try to drive us away..."
After running desperately until he reached a place with a very steep slope, Lin Weiming had to slow down. If he continued running in this place, he would only fall flat on his face.
He stopped, but the wild boar didn't; it quickly charged at him.
The two rolling gourds did not appear, but a rolling wild boar did.
The wild boar, already struggling to maintain its balance due to its tusks being broken off, tumbled heavily to the ground, injuring its spine. It lay motionless, but still managed to utter threatening sounds.
However, this sound can no longer threaten Lin Weiming.
"Huh? How did it roll down by itself?" Lin Weiming muttered in surprise.
Better safe than sorry, Lin Weiming put his daughter aside for the time being, picked up a machete and went downstairs. He slashed the wild boar's neck several times to make sure it was completely immobile and unconscious before taking a few deep breaths.
"Hehe, Wanwan, your dad killed a wild boar!"
Lin Wanyue paused for a moment, then clapped her hands in a very polite gesture, "Father is amazing!"
However, the wild boar was too big, and he couldn't possibly drag it down the mountain by himself.
