Chapter 65 Snatching Someone from the Hands of Yama (1/2)

Based on Lin Hui's unusual behavior, it goes without saying that Grandpa Chen's death is inextricably linked to her.

Li Xiyue's sudden action stunned everyone present.

Chu Xun hadn't expected her to make a move, but his eyes were full of approval for her.

Lin Hui covered her burning face in disbelief, "You dare hit me?"

"If you waste any more time, I'll throw you out!" After saying that, Li Xiyue ignored her and quickly checked on Grandpa Xu's condition.

Lin Hui raised her hand to hit back, but Chu Xun, who was standing nearby, was quick-witted and subdued her. "Director Guan, if you can't manage your students, I can do it for you."

Lin Hui was pinned behind her back by him, tears streaming down her face from the pain. "Teacher, save me!"

"I'm sorry, Deputy Commander Chu, it's my fault for not managing the student well. Please hand her over to me, and I will discipline her." Guan Tao quickly went over to plead for her.

Lin Hui was indeed unruly and domineering, which he was very dissatisfied with, but their families had a relationship, and out of consideration for the relationship between the two families, he couldn't let anything really happen to Lin Hui.

Chu Xun pushed the person back to Guan Tao, glanced at the crowd of onlookers in the room, and said to the Party Secretary, "Please ask Party Secretary Chen to have the crowd leave, and that no unrelated people stay in the room. If anyone causes trouble again, I will not let them off lightly!"

Secretary Chen nodded emphatically and quickly did as instructed.

With the room quiet down, Li Xiyue was able to focus on her work.

He checked on Grandpa Chen and found that he had died of suffocation.

“Grandpa Chen died of suffocation,” Guan Tao said as he walked over and told the others to keep an eye on Lin Hui.

He checked on Grandpa Chen's condition immediately.

Li Xiyue looked at him and asked, "Who was the first person to discover that Grandpa Chen had passed away?"

“It’s Lin Hui.” Guan Tao looked at the student who was still crying and said, “I came to check on him this morning, and Grandpa Chen was in good condition. He even said he would thank you properly when you came.”

He was in good condition this morning, how could he have suddenly passed away? It wasn't sudden death, but rather suffocation, which is enough to indicate that there's something seriously wrong here.

Li Xiyue frowned and asked again, "When did Grandpa Chen take his medicine today?"

“Just now, Lin Hui fed him the medicine, and he was in critical condition after that,” Guan Tao said gravely.

Li Xiyue looked at the empty bowl beside her, dipped her finger in the remaining medicine and tasted it; there was no problem.

Li Xiyue then asked, "Are there any other people in the house besides Lin Hui and Grandpa Chen?"

Guan Tao shook his head.

Li Xiyue had already guessed most of it, but since there was no witness to accuse the murderer, it seemed that only Grandpa Chen could tell the truth himself.

Li Xiyue unbuttoned Grandpa Chen's clothes and touched his chest, finding it still warm. She quickly took out her silver needles and said to Guan Tao, "Help me lift Grandpa Chen up."

Guan Tao didn't know what she was going to do, but he did as she said.

Li Xiyue took out a silver needle and inserted it into the back of Grandpa Chen's neck.

Take another silver needle and insert it into the Laogong acupoint on the left hand.

Next, insert needles into the left leg, three inches directly above Taixi (KI3) on the posterior border of the tibia, and then into Sanyinjiao (SP6).

Then, walk to the old man's feet, and insert the needle one inch into the Yongquan acupoint on the sole of his left foot.

Taixi acupoint is located at the midpoint between the high bone of the left ankle joint and the posterior tendon of the foot. When inserting the needle, move it 2 fen (approximately 0.3 cm) from the posterior tendon and insert it 1 cun (approximately 0.3 cm) deep.

Next is the middle wrist, where the straight line from the lower edge of the rib intersects with the Ren meridian, insert the needle one inch deep.

Everyone in the room stared in disbelief. What was Li Xiyue doing? Giving a dead person acupuncture?

Lin Hui, who had slowly stopped crying, looked at him with a sneer. Could Li Xiyue possibly bring a dead person back to life?

She's just making a futile struggle. Once the police arrive, they'll arrest Li Xiyue, and she's doomed!

"Grandpa Chen is alive!"
