The wooden building collapsed almost entirely in an instant. Ye Qingxue swayed violently, quickly grabbing the door frame to steady herself. She looked towards the staircase, which had already collapsed.

They saw Ye Qingxue leap from the window, gliding smoothly in mid-air before landing steadily on the open ground beyond the big tree.

The wooden house behind her was engulfed in flames the instant she stood up, making a huge noise and billowing thick smoke in the blink of an eye.

If she had been just a fraction slower, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Granny Xing, with Chunqian and Xialv in tow, immediately had tears in her eyes and rushed over to Ye Qingxue. She looked her over from head to toe and saw that there was blood on her body and her skirt was wet. She couldn't help but stroke her hair and pat her arms and back.

The three kept saying, "It's good that you're alright, it's good that you're alright."

They were about to cry, or rather, they were already crying; tears were streaming down their faces.

Dongbai climbed down from the tree and rushed to Ye Qingxue: "Crown Princess, are you alright?"
