In the bedroom.

The butterfly night light on the bedside table emitted a dim light, leaving the only ray of light in the dark room.

On the light beige bed, Pei Zhiyu was still asleep.

But there was a frown between her brows and her expression was subtle, as if she had had another nightmare and felt uneasy.

The faint hum of machinery outside made her even more uneasy.

In the dream——

She was somewhere unknown, and there was nothing as far as the naked eye could see.

The faint light seemed to only illuminate the area under his feet. The rest of the surroundings were completely dark. He could not see the end and there seemed to be no walls at all.

It's like being transported to another world.

The fear of the unknown invaded her mind, making her unable to think about anything.

There were light footsteps coming towards her from far away. Pei Zhiyu wanted to escape desperately, but there was nowhere to escape.

It was as if there was an invisible barrier trapping her there as the footsteps approached.

Suddenly——

She heard a baby cry.

After a moment of shock, suddenly, a huge baby shadow rushed towards him.

The huge baby looked like it had crawled out of some horror movie.

Suddenly, an irresistible urge surged from Pei Zhiyu's stomach and rushed straight up to his throat.

She was so frightened that she couldn't help but jump up from the bed, followed her body instinctively, rushed into the bathroom and started vomiting.

As soon as Qin Hezhou entered the room, he was shocked to see this situation.

Qin Hezhou's hand had just been swung by Pei Zhiyu, and his wrist bone had hit the wall, causing him to feel a slight pain.

But at this moment, he couldn't take care of himself. Seeing Pei Zhiyu like this, he felt extremely uneasy.

I wanted to go over and hug her, but I was afraid that she would get stressed out, so I had to slow down and clean up the scattered things on the ground first.

Qin Hezhou saw this and felt uncomfortable. Seeing that she did not resist, he hugged her in his arms, put his palm on the back of her neck and kneaded it gently.

The body and tense nerves gradually relaxed and calmed down, and those hidden little grievances swept away like surging waves.

Pei Zhiyu leaned in his arms, almost sobbing, and repeated: "It was really scary, I thought I would die there, Qin Hezhou..."

"Yeah, I'm here." He tried to hug her tighter to give her a sense of security, and he never stopped speaking soothing words.

I emphasized to her over and over again: "It's just a nightmare, it's just a dream, it's not real. Don't be afraid, I'm always here."

The two of them hugged each other tightly and stood in the bathroom for about ten minutes. Until Qin Hezhou's legs became numb, Pei Zhiyu vaguely showed signs of wanting to let go.

She first raised her head from his arms, just in time to meet his gaze.

Qin Hezhou was still a little dazed, and a puzzled syllable escaped from his lips: "Hmm?"

"I'm hungry..." Pei Zhiyu said embarrassedly.

As if to prove to Qin Hezhou that she was indeed hungry, before she finished speaking, a gurgling sound came from her stomach.

Qin Hezhou stopped the man, suppressed his laughter, and explained: "I'm not laughing at you."
