Jörmungandr, the Earth Serpent, is the second child of Loki, the god of fire, and one of the three great evil gods. It coils around the entire mortal world, its tail in its mouth, connected head to tail, and is hermaphroditic.

After hearing Odin's story, the Aesir gods present were completely in disbelief. They couldn't believe that the Vanir had been destroyed, and they couldn't believe that the god of fire Loki and the god of war Tyr had been defeated and suppressed by the aliens!
