The Jade Emperor asked this for a reason. It was not that he had any concerns, but if he conferred the immortal title without caring about the consequences, it would not look good if Sun Wukong was dissatisfied and caused trouble.

Therefore, the Jade Emperor specifically asked about this conferment, and also gave Sun Wukong an opportunity to refuse or express dissatisfaction.

But this time the position of Futian Zhenjun is actually not low, Erlang Shen is also Futian Zhenjun. Although Sun Wukong is a Buddha in Buddhism, both Taoism and Buddhism are "ministers" of the Heavenly Court, so the Heavenly Court's canonization this time is quite sincere.

Sun Wukong, dressed in his cassock, stepped out of the procession and bowed to the Jade Emperor, saying, "Great Heavenly Venerable, how could I not accept your grace and reward? I accept your command and thank you for your great grace."

As Sun Wukong accepted the order and expressed his gratitude, all the immortals present laughed. This time was different from before.

When Sun Wukong was just born, he knew nothing, so when he found out that the official position he was given was too low, he naturally regretted it.

But it’s different now. Now that you have become a Buddha, the Heavenly Court system cannot be unaware of it. If you accept the decree and express your gratitude and then regret it later, then you will be the one who is at fault.

However, these are just idle talk. The Monkey King today is no longer the Monkey King of the past, but a Buddha who has studied Buddhism in depth and has a compassionate heart.

After receiving the order and expressing his gratitude, a 'Jade Certificate of Immortal Official' immediately appeared in Sun Wukong's soul. After many years, he once again became an immortal official in heaven, but this time he had two identities, one was the Fighting Buddha of Buddhism, and the other was the True Lord Futian of heaven.

Sun Wukong flew into the ranks of the True Lord Futian and stood beside the True Lord Yishen Baode. However, he was not wearing the robes of a fairy official, but was still wearing a cassock.

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and nodded as she watched this scene. Then, she addressed the Jade Emperor, "Your Majesty, I and the others will return to Mount Lingshan to report to the Buddha Tathagata. May I ask if the Great Heavenly Venerable has any imperial edicts?"

The Jade Emperor smiled faintly and said, "Please tell fellow Daoist Shakyamuni to come to my Taiwei Yuqing Palace for tea when he has free time."

Upon hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva folded his hands and bowed, saying, "I respectfully follow the command of the Great Heavenly Venerable. I will take my leave."

As the Buddhist saints left, the only person left to visit the Lingxiao Palace was True Lord Xuanzhou.

But Xuanzhou Zhenjun was not panicked, but waited quietly for the order from the Jade Emperor.

Sure enough, not long after the Buddhist saints left, the Jade Emperor said to the True Lord Xuanzhou, "I have read the sacred book submitted by the Xuan Sect, but this book still needs to be recited by fellow Daoist Hongjun in person to the Thirty-Six Heavens and the Great World of Jambu. After that, I will forgive the Xuan Sect's sins and allow it to establish its teachings in the present world and establish the Dharma and Heavenly Order."

"I will obey your command." Xuan Zhou Zhenjun bowed and said, "Your Highness, Jade Emperor, the Master had already made all the necessary preparations when this little immortal entered the heavens. May I ask if you may recite them now?"

As soon as Master Xuanzhou finished speaking, the immortal officials in the hall were all slightly surprised, because Master Xuanzhou's words showed that Taoist Hongjun had already made preparations to completely bow to the Heavenly Court.

But if you think about it carefully, it makes sense. Xuanjiao has just entered the world and has experienced such a great war. Face and dignity are not important at all, and the gods don't value these things.

The most important thing is to settle down in the world and develop your own religion.

The Jade Emperor was not surprised. He simply looked up into the unknown sky and said, "Accurate."

True Lord Xuan Zhou stopped talking, but a moment later, a vast and boundless immortal sound was heard in the thirty-six heavens and the entire world of Jambu. This voice was reciting the "Book of Supreme Heaven". All the practitioners in the thirty-six heavens and the world of Jambu, from the Daluo to the Lianqi realm, heard this voice.

This voice, in the midst of its recitation, reported to the heavens using the names of the Xuanjiao Sect Leader, the Juntian Daoist Lord, and the Hongjun Daoist. The Xuanjiao respected the Jade Emperor as the ruler of the Three Realms, and the current Heavenly Court as the ruling center of the Three Realms. It revised the Xuanjiao doctrine, abolished all "anti-Heaven" things, and sincerely submitted to it, submitting it to the Heavenly Dao for its approval.

As Taoist Hongjun finished reciting the Xuanjiao's "Zuntianshu", all the Daluo Jinxian felt a change in the heavenly secrets, which proved that the Heavenly Dao had already recorded the Xuanjiao's "Zuntianshu".

At the moment of the change in the heavens, the Jade Emperor spoke: "I, entrusted by Heaven with the mandate to rule over all things. Now there is a Xuanjiao sect that sincerely submits to the Heavenly Court. I decree to pardon their sins and allow them to establish a sect and spread the Dharma in this lifetime, saving all living beings, as the law decrees."

As soon as the Jade Emperor finished speaking, the will of heaven changed dramatically in an instant. Then the way of heaven revealed the will of heaven, and all the immortals and gods of the Xuanjiao took root in the world.

From this moment on, the ancient immortals and gods who were resurrected by the Xuanjiao were officially listed in the world, and the luck in the world was blessed upon them.

At this moment, starting with Xuan Zhou Zhenjun, all the Xuanjiao monks trapped in Ancient Yuanzhou prostrated themselves on the ground and sang in unison: "We bow to the Jade Emperor, the Great Heavenly Venerable, the Mysterious Sky High God, for his mercy. We respectfully wish the Jade Emperor an infinite life and eternal honor!"

After expressing his gratitude, Master Xuanzhou took his leave and left the Heavenly Court to return to the Xuan Sect.

Then the Jade Emperor said to the Eastern Azure Emperor, "All the heavenly soldiers, heavenly generals, immortal officials, and immortal officials who have made contributions in the expedition to the Southern Continent must be rewarded according to their merits. There must be no mistakes."

The Eastern Qinghua Emperor immediately held the jade scepter in his hand and bowed, saying, "Your subject respectfully obeys the command of the Great Celestial Venerable."

The Jade Emperor nodded slightly, then said to the crowd, "The remaining matters will be handled by the Five Imperial Emperors on my behalf."
