Fang Jian from Earth became an immortal official in the Heavenly Court. Not only does he have a golden finger, but the Jade Emperor also values him.
So do you think Fang Jian will pretend to ...
Yu Censhuang was waiting outside the Honglutai, while Fang Jian followed the envoy into the Honglutai.
Green corridors and jade paths, red pillars and golden carvings. Fang Jian followed the messenger through the gorgeous and secluded corridors and waterside pavilions along the way and arrived at a clear, elegant and bright Taoist pavilion.
The Taoist pavilion is filled with curling sandalwood smoke, emitting a refreshing fragrance that is refreshing and enjoyable. The jade potted trees, the dazzling fairy flowers, and the neatly arranged thousand-year-old sandalwood tables and chairs make people feel natural and comfortable at first glance.
"This is the Seal Record Pavilion, which is responsible for registering the names of the princes, young masters, and princesses who come to the capital from various countries. It is also fully responsible for everything that happens to the princes, young masters, and princesses in the capital." The messenger explained to Fang Jian as he brought him into the Seal Record Pavilion.
After entering the Seal Record Pavilion, the envoy bowed to Fang Jian and said, "Please wait a moment." Then he went directly to the second floor of the Seal Record Pavilion.
About a cup of tea later, a sound of footsteps came from inside the Seal Record Pavilion. Then Fang Jian saw a woman in a Taoist robe with jade-like frost patterns and the messenger walking down the stairs between the attic. It was Hunyuan Wuji Daluo Jinxian.
When the two of them arrived in front of Fang Jian, the messenger introduced them, "Master Hongqing, this is Ling Xizi, the Junior Minister in charge of the Seal Records Pavilion."
The messenger then introduced Ling Xizi, "Deacon Ling Xizi, this is the son of Tai Yuan Dao Zun of Xuanjian Dao Country."
Ling Xizi held the Ruyi in her hand and nodded lightly at Fang Jian. Fang Jian also looked at Ling Xizi and nodded.
Ling Xizi frowned and then let out a light snort.
The messenger beside him hurriedly said, "Master Hongqing, why don't you pay your respects to Junior Lord Lingxizi?"
Fang Jian said, "I don't eat her food, drink her drinks, wear her clothes, or live in her house. Why should I pay my respects to her?"
"Hmm?" Ling Xizi frowned and looked at Fang Jian unkindly, saying, "What an arrogant fellow."
The messenger was about to speak, but Ling Xizi waved her hand and said, "Mr. Lan, go and take care of your own business first."
The envoy surnamed Lan was stunned for a moment, then glanced at Fang Jian, shook his head secretly, and then bowed to Ling Xizi and said, "Yes, I will take my leave."
As the messenger left, Ling Xizi turned around and walked to the sandalwood chair behind the table and sat down. Then she asked Fang Jian, "What's your Taoist name?"
Fang Jian looked at the sandalwood chair in front of Ling Xizi's desk, walked up to it, pulled it out and sat down.
Ling Xizi raised her eyebrows and said calmly, "Did I ask you to sit down?"
Fang Jian said, "But Shao Qing didn't ask me not to sit down."
Ling Xizi's eyes fixed, and she suddenly leaned back on the sandalwood chair. She looked at Fang Jian coldly and said, "Boy, now that you've come to Yujing, you're no longer in your Xuanjian Dao Kingdom. You can act tyrannically in Xuanjian Dao Kingdom, but in Yujing, there are at least eight hundred people who can crush you to death with one hand."
Fang Jian asked, "So is it one thousand or eight hundred?"
"!!!" Ling Xizi's breath stagnated, and then a surge of anger rushed to the sky. She slammed her palm on the table and shouted at Fang Jian, "How dare you! Are all the people in Xuanjian Dao Country so rude and uneducated?"
Fang Jian looked at the angry Ling Xizi and said, "The people of my Xuanjian Dao country are all ethereal and otherworldly. On the contrary, the people in Yujing are all vulgar and lack the immortal aura of a powerful cultivator."
"Fairy energy? Haha." Ling Xizi sneered again, then raised her hand and pointed outside, saying, "Fairy energy is everywhere outside. Just take a breath on the street and it's full of fairy energy. But is it useful? In the Xiantian Wuji Realm, momentum is everything, and hierarchy and authority are everything."
At this point, Ling Xizi looked at Fang Jian and said, "Didn't Tai Yuan Dao Zun tell you all these things?"
Fang Jian said, "Taoist Master Taiyuan once told me: Those who respect others will be respected, and those who humiliate others will be humiliated."
Ling Xizi's breath stagnated again, and then she immediately understood that Fang Jian's words were referring to her, because she had shown great arrogance when she first saw Fang Jian.
But as the Junior Secretary of the Honglutai, how could Ling Xizi admit her mistake to a young master from the Dao Kingdom?
"Okay, okay." Ling Xizi's expression gradually became stern. "Now I ask you questions and you answer them."
Fang Jian nodded and said, "Okay."
Ling Xizi asked, "What's your Taoist name?"
Fang Jian: "Hongqing."
Ling Xizi: "What realm is Taoism?"
Fang Jian: "The Great Primordial Pure Land Supreme Golden Immortal."
Ling Xizi: "What identity?"
Fang Jian: "The young master of Xuanjian Dao State."
Ling Xizi quickly completed the registration and then said to Fang Jian, "You are currently a hostage of the Xuanjian Dao Kingdom, and have not yet been canonized as a crown prince. Therefore, according to the laws of the Dao Court, you are now granted the title of 'National Scholar'."
Fang Jian said, "The envoy said that most of the princes of Dao Kingdom who came to Yujing as hostages were granted the title of 'Qingshi'."
Ling Xizi said, "You also said 'mostly'. There are always exceptions. In my judgment, you are not qualified to be awarded the title of Qingshi, so I will first grant you the title of Guoshi to see how it goes."
After saying this, Ling Xizi used her magic power to send a golden seal in front of Fang Jian, "This is the Golden Seal of the National Scholar. Send a divine thought into it and it will bind to you, and automatically gain the status and authority of the National Scholar."
Fang Jian reached out and took the Golden Seal of the Imperial Scholar in his hand, looked at it, and then said with a smile, "Whether I'm a minister or an Imperial Scholar doesn't matter, but having an Imperial Scholar be a hostage, I wonder if it's embarrassing for me, or for the Dao Court?"
When Ling Xizi heard this, her face changed and she immediately began to regret it. She was blinded by anger and in a fit of rage she awarded Fang Jian the title of national scholar in order to humiliate him.
But in fact, doing so would cause greater damage to the dignity of the Dao Court than humiliating the other party.
