Xuanyang Palace, Wenxin Hall.

Fang Jian, wearing a golden palace robe and a lotus crown, bowed to the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady and said, "Your Highness, I pay my respects to the Great Emperor."

The Lady of the Nine Heavens smiled and said, "Stand up."

Fang Jian bowed and said, "Thank you, Great Emperor."

After Fang Jian stood up, Jiu Tian Xuan Nu said to him, "Fang Jian, I have something very important for you to do."

Fang Jian said, "Please give your orders, Great Emperor."

The Ninth Dao said, "The Great Celestial Venerable has appeared in the world, but it will take some time for him to complete his tribulation and ascend to the throne. Now I am sending you to protect the Great Celestial Venerable until the day he completes his tribulation and ascends to heaven."

Upon hearing this, Fang Jian's expression grew solemn, and he immediately bowed and said, "I will obey your command, but I wonder where the Great Celestial Venerable's true body is now?"

The Lady of the Nine Heavens raised her hand and a golden light instantly flew into Fang Jian's brow. "It's in this world."

A map of the three realms appeared within Fang Jian's spiritual platform, and the location of the Great Celestial Venerable turned out to be a small world under the jurisdiction of the Central Juntian.

Fang Jian immediately bowed to the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady and said, "Please rest assured, Great Emperor, I will definitely fulfill my mission."

Jiu Tian Xuan Nu nodded slightly, then asked Fang Jian, "Does your heart knot seem to have been resolved?"

Upon hearing this, Fang Jian clasped his hands together and said, "Amitabha, the Buddha's teachings are boundless."

The Lady of the Nine Heavens raised her eyebrows instantly, then she searched through the mysteries of heaven and finally understood, "So that's how it is."

Fang Jian bowed to the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady and said, "Great Emperor, I will take my leave."

The Lady of the Nine Heavens called Fang Jian over, then glanced at the Hibiscus Crown on his head and said, "This Shangqing Hibiscus Crown is very nice."

Fang Jian smiled and said, "Thank you for the compliment, Great Emperor. Yu Luan gave it to me."

The Lady of the Nine Heavens raised her right hand slightly and rubbed her temple, then asked, "What about the Divine Blue Jade Ruyi that I gave you?"

"Here," Fang Jian said, and he summoned the Divine Blue Jade Ruyi. The Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady's expression became slightly more natural, and she smiled and said, "Okay, then you can go. Be careful in everything you do, and protect the Great Celestial Venerable first. Don't get involved in any unrelated matters."

Fang Jian held the Jade Ruyi in both hands, bowed to the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady and said, "I will obey your command."

After Fang Jian left the Wenxin Hall, a mysterious light flashed around the Nine-Sky Mysterious Lady, and in an instant she transformed into a Dharma body and landed directly on the Lingshan Mountain.

Soon, the Buddha from the East flew up to the clouds himself, clasped his hands together towards the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady's holy body, and said with a smile, "The Great Emperor Juntian has arrived at Lingshan. I hope this humble monk will forgive me for not coming to greet you."

The Lady of the Nine Heavens bowed to the Buddha from the East and said, "Fang Jian has no connection with Buddhism. Don't try to get his hands on him."

The Buddha from the East laughed heartily and looked at the Lady of the Nine Heavens and said, "What are you talking about, Great Emperor Juntian? Who in the Three Realms dares to set his sights on Emperor Hongqing?"

"I'm afraid that you have bad intentions and will lead him astray." Jiu Tian Xuan Nu said bluntly.

The Buddha from the East laughed and said, "Great Emperor Juntian's words are different. Buddha is the Buddha of enlightenment. If Emperor Hongqing ever attains enlightenment, that is also the will of heaven. How can human power change that?"

The Lady of the Nine Heavens said calmly, "I won't allow this to happen. I hope the Buddhist sect won't seek trouble for itself."

Buddha from the East smiled slightly and said nothing. In fact, he had no such idea at all. Even if Fang Jian wanted to join Buddhism, he would not dare to accept him without the consent of Taoist Taiyuan.

Seeing that the Buddha from the East did not respond, the Lady of the Nine Heavens stopped pestering him and bowed, saying, "I am sorry to have disturbed you today. Farewell."

The Buddha from the East put his palms together and said, "Goodbye, Great Emperor Juntian."

Afterwards, the Queen Mother of the West withdrew her divine body, and the Buddha from the East returned to the Great Leiyin Temple in Lingshan.

Seeing the returning Buddha from the East, Guanyin Bodhisattva asked, "May I ask my Buddha, which fellow Taoist just visited my sacred mountain?"

The Buddha from the East waved his hand and smiled, "A woman."

"The Buddha and Bodhisattvas in the hall were a little confused. This description seemed a little inappropriate for the Buddha.

However, the Buddha's words are full of mysteries. He used the word "woman" to describe her, which obviously meant something.

However, for the Buddha from the East, this matter was not important at the moment. He simply sat down on the lotus platform and said to Ananda, "Call everyone to the hall."

Ananda bowed, then turned and said, "The Buddha has decreed that the seven monks, Guanjian, Yanguang, Defilement, Extinction, Six Supernatural Powers, Nirvana, and Ghost King, may enter the hall to pay their respects."

Soon, seven figures entered the hall, knelt on the ground, and bowed to the Buddha from the east, saying, "Greetings to the Buddha."

The Buddha from the East looked at the seven monks and said, "You once violated the Heavenly Law and were stripped of your Bodhisattva status. Now, with the grace of the Emperor Hongqing, I pardon your crimes and allow you to return to Buddhism."

Seeing the seven monks hearing this, they all kowtowed again and said, "Disciples, we thank the Buddha and Emperor Hongqing."

The Buddha from the East issued a decree, saying, "You are now restored to your esteemed position as Bodhisattvas, and are ranked alongside the Avatamsaka Bodhisattva among the 'Eight Sages of the Avatamsaka Sutra'."

Seeing that person was extremely excited, he immediately bowed his head and said, "I thank the Buddha for his grace."

The Buddha from the East nodded slightly and waved his hand. Eight lotus thrones immediately appeared in the hall. Then he was seen bowing and paying homage to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and then flying and landing on the lotus thrones.

The next moment, Buddha's light flashed on the seven people, and the ordinary monk robes on their bodies were immediately replaced with the precious robes of Bodhisattva.

But the lotus throne in front of the seven people was empty, because although Huayan Bodhisattva had been forgiven of his sins, he could not return to Buddhism now.

Then the Buddha from the East came to see the seven people and said, "You will go to the Broken Boundary Mountain in Northern Juluzhou later to discuss the purchase of magical instruments with Juluzhou Divine Lord Cen Biqing."

The seven people were stunned when they heard this. Buying magical instruments from Duanjie Mountain? Aren't the magical instruments made by our Buddhist sect good enough?
