Just as Samantabhadra Bodhisattva was sitting high on the lotus platform, preaching to his disciples, a loud noise suddenly arose outside the hall, mixed with the rumbling sound of thunder and drums. The sound was so loud that it directly affected Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's preaching.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva stopped preaching and looked outside the hall. Although he was blocked by the beams of the hall and the red walls and green tiles, he could still see what was happening outside at a glance.

It was in the sky outside Mount Emei. A golden cloud was falling at an extremely fast speed, and at the same time, bursts of thunder drum sounds came from above the golden cloud.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's eyes flashed, and he saw through the golden cloud in an instant. He immediately saw the ten thousand heavenly soldiers who were on high alert inside the golden cloud, as well as the criminals from the Shuangyun Sect, and the leader, Fang Jian!

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's face changed, he immediately withdrew his divine eyes, and then sat on the lotus platform in silence.

The disciples who had been sent down were shocked to see this. One of them then asked, "Bodhisattva, why are you so silent? What's going on outside?"

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva sighed slightly and said, "You don't know that a great plague god has arrived in Shu County."

The disciples were even more confused after hearing this. Plague God? Isn't that a god from Heaven? And how can there be a Big Plague God and a Small Plague God? Aren't they all the same god?

Seeing the puzzled looks on the disciples' faces, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva said again, "The plague god I'm talking about is named Fang Jian."

"Master Hongqing!"

Now all the disciples understood why their Bodhisattva was like this. Now there is no Bodhisattva in Buddhism who would not have a headache after seeing Fang Jian.

"But shouldn't he be the Heavenly King in Xiniu Hezhou? Why did he come to Nanzhanbuzhou?" a disciple asked in confusion.

"This is easy. Even though he is the Lord of the Western Paradise, it only takes a word for Heaven to use him in the Southern Continent," explained another disciple.

At this time, another disciple said: "Since that's the case, should we go first?"

"No." Before the disciple could finish his words, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva immediately said, "Don't do that."

The disciples turned their gazes to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, who said gravely, "Fang Jian's visit should have nothing to do with our Buddhist sect for the time being, otherwise he would have come directly to Mount Emei. But he went straight to Mount Shu, so I think there must be another reason."

Strictly speaking, Mount Emei is also one of the Shu Mountains, but because it is so famous and is the dojo of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, it is separated from the Shu Mountains. The same is true for Mount Qingcheng.

The so-called Shushan is the abbreviation of "mountains and rivers of Shu".
