After the merger of Heaven and Taoism, the Daluo of Taoism had a noble position and authority in Heaven, and their position was equal to that of the great emperors in Heaven. Therefore, the Daluo of Taoism could also issue decrees in the name of Heaven, and the decrees were the same as those of the emperors in Heaven.

Bixia Yuanjun bowed and said, "I will obey the order of the law."

Then the Purple Star Emperor asked Guanyin Bodhisattva, "Daoyou, have you decided on the candidate for the Buddhist sect?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva put his palms together and said, "Great Peacock King."

The Purple Star Emperor called out again, "Where is the Peacock King?"

Then, the Vajra Mother Peacock King, dressed in a colorful jade robe and with a dignified appearance and graceful figure, came out, clasped her hands together, bowed, and said, "I am here."

The Emperor Ziwei said, "I appoint you as the Tongtian Order of Tongtian Mansion, in charge of all affairs of Tongtian Mansion."

The Peacock King immediately bowed and said, "This humble monk will obey the order of the Great Emperor Ziwei."
