Guanyin nodded slightly, then took the lead to enter the Hongde Hall.

Fang Jian immediately ordered people to set up a throne in the place of Youde Tianjun, and then invited Guanyin Bodhisattva to sit on it. Guanyin seemed very easy-going, just nodded slightly, and then sat down cross-legged on Youde Tianjun's throne, and the hand holding the mutton-fat jade bottle gently rested on her left knee.

Then Fang Jian and the others sat down, but just as he sat down, he heard Guanyin Bodhisattva say: "The child in Hu Miaoniang's belly has nothing to do with this poor monk."

"Ah, this..." Fang Jian raised his body as soon as he sat down, and then looked towards Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guanyin Bodhisattva's pair of pure and wise eyes were also looking at Fang Jian. At this moment, Fang Jian felt as if he was seen through.

He quickly averted his gaze and said with a smile, "Why did the Bodhisattva say that?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and said, "I have to say this. If I don't explain, I'm afraid that Master Hongqing will misunderstand me and even suspect me."

"This..." Fang Jian couldn't help but laugh when he heard this: "How could it be? It's absolutely impossible!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva stared at Fang Jian, then said with a smile, "Oh, is that really the case? It seems that I have been judging the noble Master Hongqing by my own standards."

Upon hearing this, Fang Jian immediately said, "No, no, I may be a gentleman, but a Bodhisattva is definitely not a villain! It should be said that heroes appreciate each other!"

"Oh?" Fang Jian was slightly surprised when he heard this, then said, "Please tell me clearly, Bodhisattva."

Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "Although the fetus in Hu Miaoniang's belly has nothing to do with me, I cannot bear to see such a young creature suffer such a great disaster before it is even born. Therefore, I have come here specifically for that child."

"Oh?" Fang Jian was surprised when he heard this and said, "The fetus is not even one month old yet. What does the Bodhisattva want?"

"Take the fetus." Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "I can take the fetus out early and ensure that it doesn't have to suffer the misfortune of premature birth. It can grow up normally and achieve enlightenment in the future."

At this point, to avoid Fang Jian's misunderstanding, Guanyin Bodhisattva added: "I have come here only to save people. After the fetus is safely removed, it will be handed over to the Heavenly Court for care. I am not seeking any personal gain, nor do I ask for any reward."

After saying this, Guanyin Bodhisattva clasped his hands together and chanted the Buddha's name: "Namo Amitabha."
