Last time he lost the Fractal God-Destroying Pestle, one of the magical treasures of Chengdao, and this time he lost the entire Dainichi Sect's Taoist tradition in the world.

Obviously, losing the teachings is more serious than losing the magic weapon. This means that in the many years to come, there will be no more believers of Vairocana Buddha and Vairocana Buddha in the human world, and there will no longer be their Buddhist teachings.

Just as the Northern Amoghavajra Buddha was thinking about how to speak, a ray of Buddha light quickly flew into Pingyu Jiayitian and landed under the Bodhi tree where the three Buddhas of Vairocana were.

The Amoghavajra Buddha in the north looked up and was startled. He knew the person who came, and he was of high status. He was Subhuti, one of the ten great disciples of Tathagata Buddha.

Subhuti descended and then bowed to the three Buddhas, saying, "Disciple Subhuti pays homage to the three World Honored Ones."

Mahavairocana Buddha's gaze fell on Subhuti, and he asked, "Is this a decree from the Buddha?"

Subhuti bowed and said, "Indeed, Master has commanded the three Buddhas to come to the Great Leiyin Temple to meet you immediately."

At this point, Subhuti glanced at the Buddha Vairocana and added, "Master Hongqing of the Western Heaven Palace has issued a decree to inform the Great Leiyin Temple."

Unexpectedly, this time when Vairocana Buddha heard the four words "Master Hongqing", he did not show any extra emotions, but was very calm.

The Great Sun Tathagata Buddha stood up from his cushion, looked at Vairocana Buddha and the Northern Amoghavajra Buddha and said: "This time it was my temple calculation that made a mistake, which led to the defeat of the Great Sun Sect at the hands of the Hongqing Zhenren. But now that things have come to this, anger and decadence are not acceptable. We should follow the Bodhisattva's

The mind of the Dharma should respond to the calamity of the Dharma, so as to achieve lofty virtues and protect the pure realm of lapis lazuli, and should not pollute the Buddha's mind."

After hearing what Mahavairocana Buddha said, everyone realized that he had completely adjusted his mentality. No matter how badly he lost this time, at least Mahavairocana himself was not affected at all.

As long as Mahavairocana is still around, Mahavairocana Buddhism will one day reappear in the world. After all, he is the Buddha, and even if his teachings on the human world are destroyed, there will only be a brief moment of shock and astonishment, and then there will be no more waves in his heart.

Immediately, the three Buddhas, Vairocana Buddha, and Amoghasiddhi Buddha of the North, followed Subhuti to the thirty-second heaven, the Supreme Heaven of Constant Harmony, and entered the Great Leiyin Temple to pay homage to the Tathagata Buddha.

As soon as they entered the Great Leiyin Temple, the three Buddhas noticed that the atmosphere inside was unusual. The Bodhisattvas, Arhats, Galatans, gods, and guardian gods all had expressions of sorrow and suffering, and the atmosphere was extremely solemn.

"Greetings, Buddha." Vairocana Buddha, and Amoghasiddhi Buddha of the North all bowed to the Buddha.

The Tathagata Buddha nodded slightly, then said to the three Buddhas, "Fang Jian from the Western Heaven Palace has sent a note requesting that our Buddhist sect remove Huayan, Guanjian, and the other eight from the Bodhisattva stage."

Hearing what Tathagata Buddha said, Vairocana Tathagata also knew that the matter was a done deal. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva personally came forward to save the lives of the eight of them, which was already a great honor for him. Fang Jian sent a note to the Buddhist sect on behalf of the Western Paradise, stating that at this time, the Buddhist sect could no longer guarantee the status of the eight great Bodhisattvas.

"I will follow the Buddha's command." Vairocana Buddha bowed and said.

The Tathagata Buddha nodded and said, "Since that is the case, then the eight bodhisattvas of the Mahavairocana sect will be eliminated there."

"I would like to report to the Buddha Tathagata." At this moment, the ancient Buddha Dipankara spoke.

The Tathagata Buddha turned to look at the Ancient Buddha Dipankara, then smiled and asked, "Ancient Buddha, please speak."

I only heard the ancient Buddha Dipankara say: "Among the eight great bodhisattvas of the Mahavairocana sect, the merits of the Avatamsaka Bodhisattva are the greatest. The other seven bodhisattvas can be removed from their bodhisattva status to show the merits of the Avatamsaka Bodhisattva and retain his bodhisattva status."

When the ancient Buddha Dipankara said this, Vairocana Tathagata was not only stunned, but also looked at the ancient Buddha Dipankara in surprise. This person has always had different ideas from them, but this time he actually spoke for him?

Not only Vairocana Tathagata was surprised, but even the other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the hall were shocked.

But Tathagata Buddha did not show any surprise. Instead, after a moment of thought, he nodded and said, "Let's follow the words of the ancient Buddha."

"Ananda." Buddha called out.

Ananda, one of the ten great disciples, immediately flew out and bowed to the Buddha, saying, "Disciple is here."

The Tathagata Buddha issued an edict: "I hereby issue a decree in my name to the Western Heaven Palace and to all my monks and temples, removing the bodhisattva status of Guanjian, Yanguang, Juxiang, Miemingming, Liutong, Nieluo, and Ghost King. I will also cite the merits of Huayan Bodhisattva and grant them the right to retain their bodhisattva status. However, their crimes in violation of the Heavenly Law will be handed over to the True Man Hongqing for punishment."

Upon hearing this, Ananda immediately clasped his hands together and bowed, saying, "I will obey my Dharma command."

When the Buddha's edict was passed down to all the major Buddhist temples in the world, the entire Buddhist kingdom on earth was shocked and excited.

When the abbot of Bukong Temple, Sangmojie, finished reading the edict in his hand, he couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the fallen leaves in the Zen temple.

This time, Master Hongqing completely defeated the Mahavairocana Sect and eliminated seven of its Bodhisattvas. The only Bodhisattva Huayan who had not been deprived of his fruit position still had to wait for punishment at the hands of Master Hongqing, which basically meant that the Mahavairocana Sect's inheritance was completely destroyed.

You should know that the eight great bodhisattvas of the Mahavairocana sect did not come for nothing. They were all born for the spread of the Mahavairocana sect. They represent the inheritance of the Mahavairocana sect's Buddhist teachings in the world.

Now the Eight Great Bodhisattvas are gone, the Avatamsaka Temple and Zhengshan Mingwang are also gone.
