Working as an Immortal Official in the Heavenly Court

Fang Jian from Earth became an immortal official in the Heavenly Court. Not only does he have a golden finger, but the Jade Emperor also values him.

So do you think Fang Jian will pretend to ...

Chapter 189,/.

Twenty-six heavens, the heaven of Han Chong Miaocheng.

Fang Jian rode the Third Prince into Hanchong Miaochengtian, where the Buddha's light was everywhere, the immortal air was bright and spiritual, the mountains were lush and green, and the rivers were deep and clear.

This Chonghan Miaocheng Heaven is the heaven where those who have achieved enlightenment in Buddhism reside. Except for a few special Bodhisattvas, most of the Bodhisattvas in Buddhism have established their own temples here.

Fang Jian rode his horse above the sky, looking at the magnificent aura that soared into the sky. The vast power covered down from Han Chong Miao Chengtian, sacred and solemn.

However, Fang Jian is only a Golden Immortal, but it is difficult to tell which Bodhisattva it is based on these auras.

So... "Fellow Daoist, please stay." Fang Jian called out to a monk who was flying quickly in front of him.

The monk stopped immediately, turned around and glanced at Fang Jian, a little surprised. He immediately put his hands together and said, "This humble monk pays homage to the Supreme God."

Fang Jian walked forward, then dismounted. He saw that the monk was also a Golden Immortal, with a weathered face, snow-white eyebrows, and a kind expression, but there was a hint of firmness and solemnity in his face. Fang Jian felt that the monk's temperament was a bit similar to his own.

"May I ask the monk's name?" Fang Jian bowed his head and said.

"I dare not, I dare not." The monk quickly put his hands together in greeting and said, "I am Fahai."

Fang Jian was stunned when he heard this, "Ah... What a coincidence, Fellow Daoist Fahai."

Fahai was stunned when he heard this. He looked at Fang Jian and said, "Does the Lord know me?"

Fang Jian laughed and said, "Do you know who I am?"

Fahai apologized, "I have been studying the Buddha's teachings for many years and have rarely been involved in worldly affairs. Therefore, I do not know the name of the Supreme God. Please forgive me."

Fang Jian shook his head and smiled, then said to Fahai, "Your Buddhist sect's Buddha Shakyamuni once gave you a number."

"Oh?" Fahai was immediately filled with respect upon hearing this. Anyone who could be bestowed with a title by the Buddha must be a great figure, so Fahai immediately bowed and asked, "May I ask for the title of the Supreme God?"

"I don't deserve the honorable title. The Buddha gave me the name 'Orphan'." Fang Jian said.

Fahai froze for a moment, the smile on his face vanishing instantly. "Uh...are you Master Hongqing?"

"Right," Fang Jian said, then he clasped his hands together like the monks and said solemnly, "Buddha said 'orphan', hahahahaha!"

Fahai looked at Fang Jian and didn't know what to say for a moment, but he felt that Fang Jian was cool and cheerful, and not at all the sinister and cold-blooded feeling that those people said.

After Fang Jian finished laughing, he looked at Fahai and said, "Daoist Cen Biqing is my best friend. Daoist Fahai should know him as well."

Fahai was stunned again when he heard this, then shook his head and said, "We know each other, but we are like enemies."

When she was practicing in the human world, because of Bai Suzhen's matter, Cen Biqing would fight Fahai to the death whenever she saw him. Fahai did not hold back every time and beat Cen Biqing so badly that she had to flee. Finally, she was taken to the South China Sea by Guanyin Bodhisattva to practice, which helped to smooth out her temper a little.

"Let's not talk about the past now." Fang Jian looked at Fahai and smiled, "Daoyou are also setting up a residence in Hanchong Miaochengtian?"

Upon hearing this, Fahai immediately shook his head and said, "I have no attainment of enlightenment, so how can I open a residence here? I have come here to pay homage to the Bodhisattvas Baima and Fazang."

Fang Jian's face lit up when he heard this, and he quickly said, "I've also come to pay my respects to the two Bodhisattvas, but unfortunately I don't know the way or the gate. Since you're here, why don't we go together?"

"Okay." Although Fahai was puzzled as to what Fang Jian wanted to do with the two Bodhisattvas, he did not refuse.

Fang Jian took the Third Prince by the hand and rode on the cloud with Fahai. The two chatted along the way. Fang Jian also learned that Fahai came here to ask for scriptures from the White Horse Bodhisattva and Dharmazang Bodhisattva.

Half an hour later, Fang Jian and Fahai arrived at a majestic and beautiful mountain range. Fang Jian looked around and saw a Buddhist temple hidden among the mountains.

There are lush forests growing around the Buddhist temple, and the ancient trees are so dense that they block out the sun, making the temple look extremely quiet and peaceful. The White Horse Bodhisattva and Dharmazang Bodhisattva both live here.

The White Horse Bodhisattva Shemoteng and the Dharmakara Bodhisattva Zhu Falan are the founders of the Vinaya School, one of the eight schools of Buddhism.

The Vinaya School is a very special school in Buddhism. They specialize in practicing Buddhist precepts and regard the transmission of precepts and the observance of the precepts as their first priority.

The Vinaya school divides its teachings into four categories: "precepts, precept bodies, precept conduct, and precept appearance." They believe that both Buddhist disciples and Buddhist believers must strictly abide by the precepts set by the Buddha in order to achieve the purpose of "preventing evil and stopping wrongdoing."

Generally speaking, the Vinaya School has certain similarities with the Heavenly Laws of Heaven. However, the Heavenly Laws apply to all gods and immortal beings in the three realms, while the Vinaya School only regulates monks and believers related to Buddhism.

When Fahai was on earth, his actions were very consistent with the characteristics of the Vinaya school. Bai Suzhen came into the world to repay her gratitude and married Xu Xian. Fahai repeatedly advised her to return to the mountains and forests as soon as possible, practice Taoism in seclusion, and achieve enlightenment as soon as possible.

Bai Suzhen was also in love with Xu Xian and did not listen to Fahai's advice. Later, Fahai took Xu Xian to Jinshan Temple and wanted to convert him to Buddhism. Then the flooding of Jinshan happened, and the situation gradually became out of control.

Fahai believed that humans and demons were different and had their own boundaries. Demons could not enter the human world without permission, and they could not marry mortals without permission, as this would disrupt the order of the human world.

Fahai himself is a high monk and believes that he has the responsibility to maintain order in the human world. Therefore, since Bai Suzhen and Cen Biqing stay in the human world for a long time, they have obviously crossed the boundary between humans and demons, so they should be persuaded to leave. If they do not leave, he can only use some means to subdue the demons.

This is also why Fang Jian feels that Fahai’s temperament is somewhat similar to his own, because both of them are people who firmly uphold the law and order.
