We won’t say any more unnecessary words. I will publish a new book after the Lantern Festival. The protagonist of the new book will be a Taoist disciple, and there will be a lot of Taoist, Buddhist folk customs, and traditional ghost and myth elements. So my task before the Lantern Festival is mainly to make an outline and collect information.

Then, I asked myself about the book "I am a Fairy Official in Heaven". In fact, the writing in the latter part was not very good. I know it in my heart. Here I would like to thank everyone again for your understanding and tolerance.

Especially the last few volumes are a bit broken. This is because I did not grasp the protagonist's golden fingers and the plot well enough. These mistakes will become lessons learned for the new book.

In short, I wrote "I'm an Immortal Official in Heaven" for about two years. I am very grateful for everyone's support during these two years. Without your support, there would be no "I'm an Immortal Official" with more than five million words.

This book took me more than two years to write, and I still feel a little reluctant to let it go, but the old story will eventually end, and the new story will be even more exciting!

1. The protagonist of the new book will be a Taoist disciple.

2. Traditional Chinese gods and immortals will still appear in the new book, but there will be a new setting for the Heavenly Court. The Heavenly Court's orthodox deities in the new book will exist directly in the form of rules and concepts, rather than in physical form. For example, the Heavenly Court's orthodox deities in the new book will be more like traditional mythological existences, and the distinction between "immortals" and "gods" in the new book will be more clearly defined.

3. The new book will feature numerous folklore elements. For example, if a cultivator encounters trouble beyond their capabilities, they will summon a spirit medium, and the spirit will descend with divine power to help their followers resolve the problem. In the new book, gods and immortals are two separate systems, with Heaven representing the highest concept of the "god" system, but it will not appear in a specific form.

4. The new book will follow part of the world view and background view of this book, but the characters in this book such as "Fang Jian", "Jiu Tian Xuan Nu", "Mei Xianzhang", "Cen Biqing", "Bai Bai" will not appear in the new book. As for the Taoist, Buddhist and demon clans in traditional mythology, they will continue to appear in the new book and will have more intersections with the protagonist of the new book.

5. In my conception, the protagonist of the new book will be someone even more ruthless than Fang Jian, but also more interesting. Note that ruthless here doesn't mean "bitter and vengeful," but rather "supremely ruthless, indifferent, and carefree." Interesting means the protagonist will be a "free and easy" Taoist priest, much like Zhuangzi.
