Arxan is a county-level city located in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, at the northwestern end of Hinggan League. Situated in the middle section of the Greater Khingan Mountains, it is surrounded by the Hulunbuir, Xilin Gol, Horqin, and Mongolian grasslands. It is a small city on the border between China and Mongolia, and also the political, economic, and cultural center of the Hinggan League forest area.

My first impression of this city was that it was vast and sparsely populated.

The city is flat and small in area, but its roads are very wide.

As the vehicle travels through the city, looking in all four directions from the intersection, one can see the mountains at the end of the road.

The city feels like it's built in a basin surrounded by mountains, with vast grasslands and forests in the distance, which makes me feel very comfortable.

As soon as our plane landed, the Wei family's convoy came and took us to the accommodations they had prepared.

We weren't staying in a hotel, but rather in a resort area on the west side of the city.

This resort area consists entirely of detached villas, built at the foot of the mountain.
