Lingsha withdrew its bandaged hand, moved it slightly, and after confirming that there was no problem, jumped onto the thin line and found a comfortable position to lie down.

"Okay, brother, I've finished bandaging you up. You should be able to wake up after a little more rest."

Minghai placed the bandaged sea bream in a specially made net bag, turned to look at Mingsha, his eyes sparkling like a child waiting to be praised.

"Yes, thank you for your trouble. You're such a good sister."

Mingsha patted her head and praised her gently.

Minghai's eyes narrowed into two crescent moons as he thoroughly enjoyed Mingsha's head pat and praise.

After patting her head, Mingsha glanced at Lingsha and sighed softly when she saw that she still didn't want to say anything.

Then, he looked at Hera with a somewhat strange expression.

"Hera, didn't you know you had such great power?"

"Huh? I don't know."

Hera clenched her fist, the powerful force emanating from it feeling completely unfamiliar to her.

Hera had previously thought it was her imagination, believing that this was the kind of power that normal people felt.

But after slapping the dragon to death, Hera realized that her thinking was wrong.

She does indeed possess immense power, so much so that she could easily crush the Spirit Shark's hand.

Moreover, she only used a tiny bit of her strength, if Hera hadn't been afraid and hadn't stopped immediately after hearing the sound of bones breaking.

The Shark's hand would probably have turned into a pile of minced meat by now.

"You didn't know?" Mingsha frowned, while Lingsha beside him had expected it.

Hera nodded slightly.

"Yeah, my body used to be very weak, I couldn't even run. Now I don't know why, but suddenly I have such strong strength."

Mingsha stroked his chin thoughtfully, and after a moment, gave up thinking about it.

"Perhaps something happened to you that gave you this power, but all in all, it's a good thing."

Let's not dwell on where this power comes from.

Hera thought about it and agreed that what he said made sense.

So far, there haven't been any side effects after gaining this power. If I had to point out something, it would just be that it's a little uncomfortable when I'm sleeping.

Since we don't know the reason anyway, we might as well just use it properly.

“Hera, I acknowledge you,” Mingsha suddenly said.

"ah?"

Hera was completely stunned, her eyes filled with disbelief and shock as she looked at Mingsha.

"Wait a minute, isn't this a bit too hasty!"

"You've only known me for less than two days. How can you really understand me? What if I'm not what you think..."

Mingsha smiled and shook his head, his gaze towards Hera full of certainty.

"Putting aside your abilities, the fact that you were able to fulfill your responsibilities even when your life was threatened is enough for me to acknowledge you."

"Alright, believe in yourself, you're absolutely qualified."

Mingsha patted Hera on the shoulder. Hera's lips parted slightly, but she didn't say anything. She could only look at Mingsha with gratitude in her eyes.

Seeing this, Minghai's lips curled up into a wide grin, revealing a genuine auntie smile.

"My brother has made something of himself; he's finally finding a wife on his own."

Upon hearing this, Hera and Mingsha blushed and quickly distanced themselves from each other.

Minghai's smile immediately vanished.

"Ahem, um... Spirit Shark, now that Hera has been approved by me, what are your plans next?"

After a moment, Mingsha finally spoke to break the awkward silence.

Hera looked at Spirit Shark with some anticipation. She understood Spirit Shark's unspoken meaning: he was asking if Spirit Shark had approved of Hera.

After all, now only Spirit Shark is missing from the three guardians. As long as she agrees, Hera can become a guardian!

But in reality, Ming Shark, this simple sea creature, didn't have so many ulterior motives; he was just genuinely asking Ling Shark what he planned to do.

Ling Sha stared at the ceiling for a long time, then sighed softly and sat up.

"I'll rest here with Hera for a while, then I'll go to the core area by myself."

Her gaze pierced through the wall, landing on the dragon's location, her eyes filled with solemnity.

"Now there are some of the crazed beasts that I can't handle, and Hera can't fight, so she has no way to use her power properly."

So I need to get a helper.

"What about the area you're patrolling? It feels like this area is quite dangerous these past few days, and Kaisha and I might not be able to cover it all."

Mingsha asked the question, while Lingsha looked at Hera instead.

"I'll leave these next few days to you. Anyway, I've taken you around a few times before, so you should know what to do."

Hera pointed to herself in disbelief, "Me? I can't do it."

Hera waved her hand dismissively, looking rather unsure.

"This is a test for you. If you do well after I come back and there are no problems, then I will approve of you."

"How about it?"

"Well... okay, I'll try my best!"

Ling Sha nodded slightly and lay back down. "By the way, because of my injury, the journey back and forth might take a little longer."

I estimate... two or three days, it won't take long.

"Oh, okay, okay."

Two or three days isn't a long time. Hopefully, Hera will be lucky and not encounter those crazed monsters.

Just thinking about their ferocious appearance sent a chill down Hera's spine.

Even though Hera knew she could probably slap them to death right now, she was still terrified.
