But as the movie played, it seemed to get more and more terrifying.

With the thunder, rain, and wind raging outside the window, and the room being dark, the atmosphere was perfectly set.

The only person who seems to give them a sense of security is this womanizing playboy by their side.

Thunder roared again.

"Ah!!" Xiaoli and Shuer exclaimed at the same time.

Then they both leaned against Chu Yang.

Chu Yang put his arms around their shoulders, embracing them on either side, and said softly, "With me here, don't be afraid."

Xiaoli and Shuer realized something was wrong and exchanged a glance.

After humming, they turned their heads, broke free, and moved to either side of the sofa.

"It's funny how scared he is," Xiaoli suddenly blurted out.

Shu'er replied quietly, "I'm not afraid at all. If you are, then choose another movie. I won't laugh at you."

"No need to change it, I love watching horror movies the most, I can't sleep without watching horror movies," Xiaoli stubbornly insisted.

"Then let's keep watching. Whoever's afraid can quit." Shu'er forced a calm smile.

"Okay." Xiaoli took a deep breath.

Chu Yang almost burst out laughing. These two were clearly terrified, yet they still acted so bravely.

However, this suited him quite well; in this situation, horror movies were much more effective than action movies for everyday life.

"In that case, you'd better keep your eyes wide open and watch carefully. I'll be in charge of supervising," he said with a smile.
