A woman who looked to be in her early twenties was standing in front of Liu Tian's melon stall.

"Make it cheaper. Look how hard it is for everyone in this hot weather. The sooner you sell out, the sooner you can go home."

"It's free."

The woman exclaimed in surprise, "Why did he refuse to take the money when he asked me for four cents?"

Ye Zhou said seriously, "I'm asking you seriously, how much is it per pound?"

"Eight cents."

"Eight cents, that's cheap, boss, pick out a few good ones for me."

Liu Tian got to work.

"Don't worry, these are all good melons, every single one is guaranteed to be ripe."

Ye Zhou glanced at the woman out of the corner of his eye; her face was already flushed with embarrassment.

After taking the bag of melons that Liu Tian had packed, the two of them pushed and shoved each other. Ye Zhou still stuffed the money into Liu Tian's pocket. The two of them were fighting like they were fighting. In the end, Liu Tian forced five yuan back into his pocket.

Liu Tian glanced at the woman and sighed, "Sister, we've been arguing here for ages, there's no way I'm giving it to you for free."

The woman blushed, sweat beading on her face: "Who, who said I'd get it for free? Am I that kind of person?"

"Well, it's four cents a pound, do you want it?" Liu Tian asked tentatively.
