The fates of the eldest prince and the crown prince were too tragic, so the third prince dared not do anything more. He became more grounded and actually did a few things, which made Kangxi quite pleased.

The Fourth Prince, Yinzhen, remained the same. If it weren't for the exceptional talent of Princess Anle preceding him, Emperor Kangxi would likely have considered him as his successor, as he was the most suitable.
