"You heard it too?" Lin Xihe was slightly taken aback, not expecting Ye Yunfan to mention the villagers' whispers so directly.

He pursed his lips, but the words seemed to get stuck in his throat, and he couldn't say them.

Lin Xihe waited for a while, and seeing that Ye Yunfan was still too embarrassed to finish speaking, she guessed what he meant and a faint blush appeared on her face.

"Let me help you move your things inside," Ye Yunfan said, snapping out of his daze and glancing at the contents of the car.

Lin Xihe's heart skipped a beat. How could she let Ye Yunfan in? Ji Zhuo was still hiding in the house. If he were discovered, things would get complicated.

She quickly waved her hand and said anxiously, "Since you brought me back, there's already a lot of gossip. If you take me inside again, I'm afraid I'll be drowned in everyone's spittle. Just put it at the door for me, and I can carry it in myself slowly."
