Vampires exist in books, shows, and movies… BUT IN NEW ERIDU?!
Ellen Joe discovers her quiet classmate Phaga isn’t just reserved—he’s a vampire looking for a job!
Between school...
About ten minutes later, Fagar finally calmed Ellen down and made a joke: "Okay, no matter what, I'm still a vampire. If all else fails, I'll just dive into the crowd, have my limbs broken, crawl in like a cocoon, and then spread my wings and fly out in a little while."
"Nonsense, who would curse themselves to be disabled like that?"
Eileen was not pleased to hear this. Instead, she lightly punched Faga and then pretended to flip her hair as she broke free from Faga's embrace.
Her pretty face flushed slightly, and Ellen clenched her small hands in front of her. She opened one eye and coughed, saying, "Eat first, we have to go to school later!"
"It's all your fault for wasting my time."
Upon hearing this, Fajia couldn't help but laugh, shook his head helplessly, and obediently said, "Yes, yes, it's my fault, it's my fault."
Not long after, Fagga and Ellen finished their breakfast, their chopsticks tapping on the table.
Head to the entryway, tidy your appearance again in front of the full-length mirror, and change your shoes.
Ellen suddenly noticed something, so she stood on tiptoe to straighten the collar of Fagga's neck and then gently patted the wrinkles in his clothes.
Well, that's how the perfect boyfriend is born... cough cough, no, no, I mean family!
Eileen lightly patted her flushed face, the two crisp slaps making Fagga turn around in confusion, but he didn't see Eileen's eyes, which were so shy they were almost invisible.
She unlocked the door and took the first step outside, running so fast she was practically on a patrol vehicle.
"Hey, wait a minute, we're still a long way from being late, why are we walking so fast?"
Seeing Ellen suddenly accelerate, Fagga quickly gave chase.
...
About twenty minutes later, Fagga and Ellen arrived at the school together.
Here, there are no skeletons, no rope makers or agents; everyone's social identity is hidden, and they are simply students.
Having arrived here, everything seems to have returned to normal. The pressure of studying is as heavy as a mountain, but when faced with a life-or-death moment, one can be easily blown away by the wind.
Upon entering this place, both Fagga and Ellen felt a little more relaxed, and their moods became much more at ease.
So much so that... when Ruby, with a shark tail tied around her neck, swaggered over to Ellen and Fagga's seats in full view of everyone, neither of them noticed.
"Hey, you two!"
Ruby swayed her hips from side to side, and under the astonished gazes of the whole class, she swung the cotton shark tail tied behind her waist, slapping the backs of the two men on either side, and said smugly:
"Your legendary shark investigator makes his grand entrance!"
"ah?"
Fagga and Ellen suddenly felt a light tap on their backs and instinctively turned to look back.
Suddenly, Ruby stood there with her hands on her hips, looking quite energetic, while her shark tail behind her looked lifeless and almost reached the ground.
"Look, my new shark tail! Isn't it cute? I'm going to dress up as a shark all day today!"
Seeing the two turn their gazes toward her, Ruby turned around excitedly, slowly swaying her waist, her fluffy shark tail swaying along with her, and even showing some of the charm of Ellen's tail swaying from side to side when she was idle.
Ruby exclaimed excitedly, "Look, Fagga, isn't it almost as good as Ellen's!"
"Not at all!"
Fagga rested his face on his hand, glanced at it with a light laugh, and said quietly, "It looks like a plush toy."
"Where is it similar? That's because you're looking at it through an eight-foot-thick filter!"
Sure enough, Ruby pouted angrily, complaining that Fagga was biased.
However, Fagar ignored her completely, instead raising an eyebrow at Ellen and gesturing with his lips towards Ruby's direction.
"well."
Eileen sighed.
There was nothing she could do; Fagga was too lazy to deal with it, so she had to comfort her best friend herself.
Eileen lowered her gaze to look at the shark tail Ruby was wearing, and suddenly thought, "Didn't I remember you just ordered it yesterday? How come it arrived today?"
"More money!"
Ruby raised her chin, looking smug, and said, "A mere tip is nothing to worry about!"
"Just a little? It must be very expensive."
Eileen tilted her head. Although she had never bought express mail before, she knew with a grain of salt that it must be ridiculously expensive to have it delivered overnight.
"It's alright!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Ruby suddenly changed her expression, bent down like a thief, and whispered in Ellen's ear, "Some sucker will pay for me."
Eileen, however, was taken aback. She sensed something amiss in Ruby's smile and asked疑惑地问道, "Fool? What fool...?"
Shh! I'll show you a magic trick, and the name of the trick is...
Before she could finish speaking, Ruby suddenly pulled her left hand into her sleeve.
When she emerged again, a transparent sealed bag suddenly caught Eileen's eye, containing more than a dozen printed photos.
Ruby even asked the photo studio owner to use his expertise to add a touch of romantic cyberpunk magic to the already beautiful scene.
"The magic trick is called... Vampire Face-Changing!"
Ruby yelled and moved with lightning speed; before Ellen could even reach out and grab her skirt, she was already beside Fagga.
While holding Faga's shoulders, she showed him the beautiful memories of Ellen and Faga kissing.
Ruby leaned down cheekily, swaying her hips so that her shark tail patted Fagga's back, and said in a low voice:
