Chapter 20 Help Me Move (2/2)

Ellen hung up after hearing this, then quickly turned cold and struggled to break free from Fagar's hold.

Unexpectedly, Fagga let go very decisively this time, and Eileen almost tripped and fell because she used too much force.

"snort!"

But Ellen was experienced in combat, so she didn't actually fall down. She used her tail to steady herself and then flung her hand away.

"Hey, Ellen. How about helping me move tomorrow?"

Fagga followed, casually taking off his coat and throwing it into the room.

Eileen turned her head sharply. Still angry, she was about to refuse when she saw Fagga's white T-shirt hidden under his dark coat.

The right sleeve of the white T-shirt was stained with tiny red dots.

That was a punch thrown by the Butcher of the Dead End!

Given Fagar's reaction speed, he shouldn't have suffered such an injury, but Eileen was exhausted and nearly collapsed at the time.

Involuntarily, Eileen swallowed her words of refusal, instead crossing her arms and coldly snorting, "I know."

After saying that, Ellen turned and left, giving Fagar no further chance to speak.

Fagga shrugged, said nothing, and silently went down to the first-floor restaurant.

On a round table, dishes were laid out in abundance, a diverse and inclusive array, their rich aromas enticing Fagga's taste buds, making him eager to devour them all.

But Fagar restrained himself, trying to appear calm as he sat down and waited for Lycan and Lina, who were clearly the elders of the family, to speak.

Lycaon saw all of this. Lina smiled slightly, and after exchanging glances, the two nodded to each other.

Remain calm and composed in the face of change.

This is the most important quality for members of Victoria Household.

In comparison...

Lycahn and Lina silently turned their heads away.

Eileen had already skillfully picked up her chopsticks, picked up a piece of meat, and put it into her mouth without any hesitation.

Lycahn couldn't help but sigh, while Lina covered her mouth and chuckled, whispering, "It seems that in the future, Fagar will be able to take on a wider range of commissions than Ellen!"

Upon hearing this, Eileen immediately looked up, staring blankly at Lycan and Lina: "Huh? What do you mean?"

"It's alright, Ellen has her own adorable side, there's no need to focus on changing herself."

Lina shook her head slightly, then said happily, "Because Colleen is away on a mission, Fagga's welcome banquet will have to be postponed."

“I’ve already discussed it with Mr. Lekahn, and he’ll be hosting this event. When Colleen returns, we’ll combine Colleen’s welcome party with Fagga’s welcome party.”

“At that time, Fagga will be able to enjoy a banquet personally prepared by me, the head maid Lina.”

"Cough cough!"

For some reason, Lykan suddenly coughed twice, abruptly interrupting Lina's speech, and Lykan's own voice sounded somewhat mischievous:

"Alright, Lina, we'll talk about next time later. The children are tired from coming back from the cave, let's have dinner soon."

Hearing this, Eileen raised an eyebrow and interjected, "No way, I'm actually looking forward to Lina's dinner."

"Eileen, be quiet."

"oh."

After the meal, everyone got up and left.

Fagga offered to help with the dishes, but Lina refused, chuckling softly as she ushered Fagga out of the kitchen: "You should rest well after just coming back from the void."

"Or it would be good to help Eileen catch up on her studies. I've seen her report card; it's a very even hexagon, just with a small area."

Before long, Fagga reluctantly entered Elaine's room again.

Eileen lifted her leg, chewed on her lollipop indistinctly, her shark tail, adorned with a nightcap, swaying from side to side, and demanded, "What are you doing here?"

"Lina said she wants me to tutor you."

"You have excellent grades?"

"Except for Chinese, everything else is perfect."

"Tsk! Why didn't you get a perfect score in Chinese too?"

"Even if you dug the original author out of the ground for the exam, he would still lose two points on reading comprehension."
