Chapter 22 School Reopens Four Days Later (1/2)

"Alright, Ellen, I've heard of this person. He's not a bad person. You may leave."

Fagga pressed down on Elaine's hand and shook his head slightly.

Seeing this, Eileen narrowed her eyes and pondered for a moment, then suddenly turned around and glared at Nicole, her murderous intent fully displayed, once again intimidating Nicole.

He then bowed respectfully, retreated behind Fagga with a blank expression, and acted as if he were completely under Fagga's command, his professionalism was terrifying.

Connie was not one to be intimidated; she immediately sprang to her feet.

Although she didn't know Fagga at all, it didn't stop her from reaching out and tightly grasping Fagga's hands.

Eileen frowned, just about to take action.

But then Fagga turned his head slightly, his eyes stopping Ellen in her tracks.

"Hero, you're such a good person, you're so sensible!"

Nicole shook Fagga's hand vigorously, her face full of excitement: "I was too hasty this time, so I acted a bit rashly. Next time, I'll definitely buy you a discount coupon for the ramen shop!"

"Oh, by the way. You actually know me? Have you heard of our Cunning Rabbit House?"

Nicole stared wide-eyed at Fagga with anticipation.

"I guess... I've heard of it..."

Fagga's gaze gradually shifted. As a jack-of-all-trades shop, the Cunning Rabbit Shop was widely known in Sixth Street for its ability to take on any job.

But as for his reputation...

Fagar smiled awkwardly and subtly withdrew his hand from Nicole's.

To be honest, he wasn't familiar with Nicole and didn't really want to talk to her.

Nicole roughly understood what Fagga meant, and couldn't help but feel a little sad.

But she had something more important to do at the moment, so she quickly greeted Fagga and ran towards a shop on Sixth Street.

Fagga glanced back and saw a video store.

Judging from Nicole's flustered appearance, she seemed to have something urgent to attend to.

Let's go.

Although there were some minor incidents, they didn't affect Faga's own affairs, so he quietly reminded Ellen and continued walking towards the residential building.

On the way, Eileen couldn't contain her curiosity and asked, "Faga, do you know her?"

"The boss of the cunning rabbit house takes any job. She's quite famous on Sixth Street, but her reputation isn't good. She owes a lot of money."

Fagar answered truthfully, then suddenly turned around and looked at Ellen with interest, teasingly saying, "Speaking of which, you actually blocked my way the first time, even though I could have easily dodged it myself."

"Whether Master can get out of the way is not my concern!"

Eileen pouted, somewhat defiantly saying, "Victoria's housekeeping motto is 'to clear all obstacles for the master.' It's a disgrace to make the master deal with any obstacle, no matter how small!"

"Oh, I see." Fagga chuckled softly.

"What are you laughing at? You have to do that from now on!"

"Okay, I understand. By the way, I'm still considered the 'master' now, right? How dare you talk to your 'master' like that?"

"Ugh! You!"

"Ha ha!"

Fagga laughed heartily; he hadn't felt so relaxed in a long time.

Young children may admire solitary heroes who walk alone in the darkness, which is understandable, because they admire the greatness of heroes and the dazzling achievements of those who go it alone.

Unfortunately, their age and limited experience made them see things too superficially, believing that the essence of a hero is just a dark cloak.

Imagine standing in the desolate wind, holding a sword, waiting for the wind to billow his coat long and the hem to dance in the breeze; a strange feeling arises. It's as if this is the shadow he wants to grasp.

Unfortunately, most people dislike being alone and find it difficult to escape the vortex of intrigue and scheming.

Loneliness cannot sustain a person's greatness!

But love and faith can!
