Between school...

Chapter 26 This school start seems a bit off (1/2)

"Ellen, you absolutely must join the track and field club this semester!"

As soon as Ellen and Fagga arrived at the school, someone stopped them.

One of the boys was holding a club membership form, and the girl next to him chimed in, "You broke the school record in the relay race you ran for at the last sports meet, didn't you!"

"Hey!"

Eileen glanced down, completely surprised that someone was already trying to get her into a club so soon after entering school. She laughed awkwardly and quickly declined.

"But running is so hot, just invite me to watch your race."

"or..."

Eileen turned her head and her eyes immediately caught sight of Fagga, who had sensed something was wrong and was about to run away. She quickly grabbed Fagga's sleeve and pulled him over:

“Look, I’ve caught someone who runs even faster than me. Let him run three thousand meters; no one can outrun him.”

"Hey, you!"

Fagar glared at Eileen, then turned his head to face the track and field club in front of him, coldly declining, "Sorry, not interested."

After saying that, Fagga walked around the track and field club members and was about to leave.

Eileen grabbed Fagga's sleeve, ready to leave together, waving and laughing as she said goodbye to the track and field club members.

However, before Fagga and Ellen could get far, the sound of musical instruments suddenly rang out.

Petals, cheers... poured in from the classrooms on both sides of the corridor, and everyone stuck their heads out of the windows.

Whoosh!

A red curtain descended, then was flung open, revealing a masked blond man who bowed gracefully and spoke in a soft, effeminate voice.

"Should I join the drama club?"

"This year we're going to film a musical called 'The Girl from the Sea,' and there's a role that's perfect for Ellen."

Halfway through the conversation, the blond boy noticed that Ellen was holding onto another boy's clothes, and quickly came over to carefully examine the man's face.

Hmm...this feels so familiar, like I've seen it somewhere before.

A hint of hesitation appeared on the blond boy's face.

For some reason, he felt a strange sense of familiarity with Fagga.

At that moment, another masked boy stepped forward, took out his phone, and showed it to the blond boy.

The blond boy suddenly looked enlightened, took a few steps over and took Faga's hand, his expression dozens of times more excited than when he invited Ellen earlier!

"So you are Fagga, it's an honor to meet you!"

Is this a vampire's hand?

Ancestors, I've touched a vampire's hand!

Fagga was stunned, watching the blond man shake his hand with almost morbid excitement, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.

The blond boy clearly noticed Faga's discomfort and quickly pulled out another club brochure, trying to sell it to Faga:

“We have another role in our musical that would also suit Fagga. Come, take a look.”

The person who had taken out his phone earlier seemed a bit confused upon hearing this, and scratched his head, saying, "But boss, haven't all our roles been assigned except for Ellen's?"

"Who said that? Shut up!"

The blond boy, who had been smiling just moments before, immediately turned around and reprimanded someone, then turned back, smiling warmly as he pointed to one of the characters and said:

"Look, we also have a prince character here. Towards the end of the musical, you'll spread your wings..."

As he spoke, the blond boy looked up, his eyes filled with anticipation. It was as if he were saying:

Don't you think that's cool?!

"...Uh, hehe."

Fagar immediately gave Eileen the same awkward smile, nudged her with his elbow, and whispered:

"Hey, he invited you first, say something!"

"What am I going to say?"

Eileen nudged him back and whispered, "He's more excited about inviting you than he is about inviting me. Shouldn't you be the one to express your opinion before me?"

"I'm not good at handling interpersonal relationships."

"Am I really good at this?"

"You're a senior!"

"Now you remember?!"

They nudged each other with their elbows after every sentence they spoke, even though they spoke very softly, their movements were quite exaggerated!

The blond boy, standing so close, was completely mesmerized.
