Recording my own dreams. Some of them I really want to write out, but there are too many plot holes, so I'll put them here for now.
These are all pulled from chat records and will include...
Ghost Lord
The dream begins with a zombie outbreak.
The three of us ran into a classroom. The boy and I locked the back door and held it together, while another girl quickly locked the front door.
This door was a wooden door with a latch. It was pushed open and the boy was pushed back a few steps by the impact. I exerted some force and pushed the door back.
Then, after an unknown amount of time, the zombies outside the door stopped pushing the door and seemed to have gone somewhere else.
Then I heard someone at the door say: Open the door quickly and let us in.
My point is not to open the door. Who knows if the person outside is infected?
The boy didn't say anything, just looked at me. I immediately understood that I actually wanted to let him in. I wanted to save as many people as possible, but I was afraid that the other two people in the classroom would disagree, so I wanted to provoke them (what kind of brain circuit is this?).
We let a boy in first. After he came in, we heard the sound of zombies coming over. We were about to close the door, but he grabbed the door and said, "One more person, just one, close it again."
I let another person in, a boy, and then we worked together to hold the door. After the zombies scratched at the door for a while, there was no movement.
Then, with my entire body pressed against the wooden door, I heard a female voice nearby say, "Interesting room! One human, two souls, two monsters! Hahaha! A human actually dares to stay alone in a room like this."
In the dream, I naturally thought that I was a human being, but I also did not agree with what she said and said that she was trying to sow discord.
The being outside was silent for a while and then got angry. It pushed the door open with great force. The lock of the door was broken and only the door panel was functioning. After that, a woman's hand, which looked like she hadn't trimmed her nails for several years but was quite pretty, reached in from the crack of the door.
There is a detail here. At the beginning, my companion, the male lead, was holding the lock. I was in the middle, the male lead two who came in later was on the far left, and the male lead three who came in last.
The male lead standing behind him was almost grabbed away, but the male lead two suddenly called out the male lead three's name and asked him to get out.
I was shocked and said, "You actually ask people to die at this time?" The second male lead said that he knew the temperament of the thing outside, and that people would have to pay a price every time it appeared. The third male lead was the most suitable sacrifice, and that the third male lead would be fine, so he should trust them.
The third man didn't refute me, just kept looking at me. I felt like he must know me, so I asked him, and he said, "You'll find out later." Then he grabbed the hand with the long nails and was pulled outside by that existence. The door was also closed by the inertia of us pushing against it.
The creature outside became quiet after it caught someone. After a while, the second male lead said it was okay, it was gone, and there was no need to be so nervous. I asked him how he knew so much.
At this point, I almost assumed that the third male lead was dead.
The second male lead said that we have been trapped in this place for a long time, and this is the first time we see a stranger coming in.
Okay, it’s confirmed, you two are the two monsters that existence mentioned.
I had previously suspected that the two souls were my companions, because I had a vague memory that when the zombie outbreak occurred, my companions were pushed out one by one by another into the pile of zombies. But because they were always by my side to protect me and escape with me, I ignored this incident.
Then the second male lead gave us a brief introduction to the current situation. This is a ghost den that existed a long time ago. The owner of the ghost den is the one mentioned earlier. It seems that she was a teacher in her life and loved her students. After she died and became like this, her love for them changed. She doesn't kill people very often. As long as the person who comes in is a student, she won't kill the student, but she won't let the student go either.
He and his brother accidentally entered this place when they were picking up scrap metal from the ruins, and they never left since then.
I felt his words were half-truths, and I didn't believe them completely. Suddenly, the Ghost Lord's voice rang out from the front door again: "Little sister, who do you think that human is?"
The front door was held by another companion of mine. Since the zombies didn't go out through the front door and the front door was still intact, I asked her to hold it first. But suddenly this sentence came out and my companion screamed in fright.
Then the ghost master laughed, and the voice came to me again, saying: "Let her out, I will take her out to play, and I will return her to you after playing with her for a while."
I disagreed, but the second male lead grabbed my hand and said: Let her go, nothing will happen to her. If she doesn't go out, everyone will be punished. We must protect you.
Then while I was arguing with the second male lead, the girl walked out by herself.
The sound outside the door was strange, like the sweet whispers between lovers. I got goosebumps all over my body. The girl came back by herself, as if nothing had happened.
Then the ghost master said that I was disobedient and did not release her, and wanted to punish me. It attracted the zombies here.
The male lead then said he was going out to lure the zombies away. I asked him how he could escape and if he could be safe. He said there was a utility room at the end of the hallway and that the door was intact when he first came in, so he was assured he could come back. Then he opened the door and left.
The zombies were lured away, but the girl at the front door was unwilling to go to the back. Now only the second male lead is left by my side. I don’t quite trust him. After all, after he appeared, the ghost master also appeared. It’s hard not to suspect that he was the one who led them here.
Unexpectedly, after a while, the male lead also came back, but the third male lead didn’t come back.
All my teammates were in place, and I directly asked the second male lead if he was the monster he was talking about.
The second male lead smiled and said that he had not intended to hide it at the beginning. He and the Ghost Lord were similar yet different beings. His ability was not strong and he could not confront the Ghost Lord head-on. At the same time, he was entrusted by the third male lead to rescue me.
I asked him why the third male wanted to save me, but he suddenly said that he had found the exit and asked me to let him out and he would move the exit over.
I thought to myself, I don’t care whether what he said was authentic or not, I just decided not to stay in the same space with him and let him out.
There was a noise outside for a while, then it fell silent. Then the second male's voice came through the wooden board, saying that he had moved the exit and all I had to do was open the door and go out.
I didn't believe him, so he slipped a card from under the door. It was a card for paying water and electricity bills, but it looked like it was used as a notebook. There was a line of black handwritten words on the top: "Ye Luoyu April 25, 21 years."
The second male lead said that this belonged to the third male lead, and that was when he first saw me and fell in love with me.
I don't think my real name is Ye Luoyu, but my nickname. But I remember this time: I think I rescued a small animal that was so dirty I couldn't tell what it was. I wanted to give it a good rinse, and then my friend called my nickname. I turned around, and the animal was gone.
I had been planning to take it home and raise it, but now it seems that the little animal is not a normal animal.
In the end, I decided to believe the second male lead, not because of the card, but because if I didn’t believe him, I would be trapped here too, so I might as well give it a try.
I opened the door and went out. It was pitch black outside, the kind where I couldn't see a thing. Suddenly, a hand grabbed mine, and the second male lead's voice came from the other side and said, "Thank you for believing in me. Now I know why the third male lead likes you. I like you too."
Thank you for the invitation. I also have a charming personality in my dream today.
But in my dream, I felt that he was a non-human. In fact, he didn’t know what love meant. He just thought my calm reaction was very interesting, just like liking a toy.
Later, I saw a bright light in front of my eyes, and when I looked back, I found myself standing in the ruins of a house, with a long-abandoned school behind me.
I came out, and my two companions appeared beside me. The girl said she knew she was dead and she didn't plan to stay. The man said, "Just go, I'll stay, she needs someone to accompany her."
The world outside is still facing the zombie apocalypse.
(over)
(The following is a joke with friends)
Me: Everyone in the dream had distinct personalities. The first male lead was calm and rational, and he understood me very well. The girl was a bit timid. The second male lead wasn't quite normal, and seemed a bit dark. The third male lead didn't have much screen time, but he was shy (?). The ghost leader wasn't quite right. Zombies are mindless and attracted to sounds. I am who I am, a different kind of fireworks.
Qizhe: There are many things I'm curious about. The Ghost Lord, due to his previous identity, prefers students. Why does the third male, who is in animal form, have a way to temporarily distract the Ghost Lord?
Me: You can only half believe the second male lead's story; I don't really believe it. Oh, actually, the third male lead isn't a proper animal. He and the second male lead are more like spheres of energy, similar to the ghost lord. He improvised his animal form because he was afraid of being discovered by humans. Because, later in that memory, there's a third male lead's perspective. After he left my sight, he transformed into a black mist-like thing and fled down the nearby sewer.
Qizhe: I feel that these non-human creatures, although they have their own thoughts, are still quite friendly.
Me: The second male lead provided him (the third male lead) with energy, and the two of them were trapped inside the ghost cave by the ghost master and gradually absorbed by the ghost master. This is what happened later in the ghost cave. Then, I, a living student, and the two souls entered.
Qi Zhe: Well, that's why I think they're quite friendly. The ghost master doesn't have any motives, just wants to have fun, and the second and third male protagonists also insist on not involving others.
Me: This kind of setting is quite classic, right? In the fantasy stories of immortal cultivation, there are always monsters who create illusions, trap people inside, and gradually drain their vitality for nourishment.
Me: The Ghost Den Lord isn't looking for fun; it's not exactly friendly. It won't kill students, but if they stay in the Ghost Den for too long, they'll turn into monsters and be assimilated. If anyone other than a student enters, the Ghost Den Lord will kill anyone with power to strengthen itself. I don't trust the second male lead because sometimes he doesn't seem very friendly to me. He feels dangerous, like he could kill me at any moment.
Qi Zhe: The student identity is a layer of protection, at least I won’t be rushed in the face as soon as I come in. Well, the second male lead must have his own plans, after all, he has to deal with the ghost master, and this is his business.
Me: He's similar to the Demon Lord, yet different. He could actually kill me and absorb my energy to strengthen himself. When he grabbed me in the darkness behind me, I actually felt a surge of murderous intent. So, the liking he spoke of was probably about treating me like a toy. (Wiping sweat) Luckily, the third male lead offered to save me first.
Qizhe: Well, the third male made a promise, so he must have kept his promise, otherwise it would have been difficult.
Qizhe: A calm and collected heartthrob, a good brother with tacit cooperation, a quiet and timid little sister, the MVP of secret love and gratitude, a person who teases dangerous and despicable monsters, and beware of the female bronze ghost leader.
Me: ...? How do you know the ghost master is a female copper? Although she is indeed. It wants girls to go out and play with it, and this play means that in the dream. Fortunately, it wasn't me who was calling (what)
