The soldiers tensed up, their eyes cleared, and their singing resumed, becoming much louder.

As the song ended, a loud laugh followed immediately:

On the deck, Ito Junyoshi, accompanied by several adjutants, stood ramrod straight, looking at the group of young recruits before him with an excited expression.

After looking around, he turned to his adjutant, Kentaro Miura, and gave him a wink.

Miura immediately stepped forward, stood before the crowd, and stood with his hands on his hips, his expression grave.

“You haven’t been to Dagan, so you don’t know much about it.”

"Yes, sir!!!" the soldiers roared in response.

At this point, Miura paused, looked around at everyone, and then shouted:

"Let's work hard! Our territory is vast! Much larger than our Japan!"

"There are many more people than us! Dozens of times more!"

"I'm asking you, are you scared or not!?"

"We're not afraid!!!" the soldiers shouted in unison, their voices ringing out.
