Chapter 344 Thunder

Looking at the corpses scattered all over the ground, Qin Yiming, in fear, lifted up a body and then crawled under it.

After hiding under the corpse, Qin Yiming finally caught his breath.

He dared not move, his body pressed tightly against the ground, his eyes darting out of the corner of his eye to watch the movements on the city wall.

Some Japanese soldiers were even shooting arrows! Although their numbers were small, most of them had already died in the first round of attacks.

These few Japanese soldiers, their faces flushed, roared and shouted amidst the chaotic pile of lead stones:

"For His Majesty the Emperor!!!"

"Kill them! Kill them!"

Lead stones rained down on them, bombarding their bodies, and they fell rapidly.

Qin Mingyi was horrified: "These people who help Sang have all gone mad!"

He shakily peeked out from under the corpses. The city wall was a scene of devastation, with dead bodies everywhere, blood mixed with broken walls and rubble scattered all over the ground.

"It's over, it's over, I have to get out of here..." Qin Mingyi muttered to himself as he crawled out from under the corpses, over the skeletons, and made his way up the stairs.

Despite trying to stand up, his legs were shaking so badly that he couldn't muster any strength. But thankfully, he finally reached the bottom of the stairs.

Looking down at the deep staircase, Qin Mingyi took a deep breath and began to descend the stairs with both hands.

As he rounded a bend, several feet appeared in front of him.

He paused for a moment, looking at the unusual military boots, and an ominous premonition instantly arose in his heart.

Qin Mingyi took a deep breath and raised his face, which was contorted with fear.

"You're really lucky to be alive." A completely emotionless voice rang out at that moment.
