Mo Sang smiled.
"Hahaha!"
"Well said! Peace is the most precious thing!"
Mo Sang's smile vanished in an instant. He put on a stern face and said, "The Yan Kingdom has come with overwhelming force and will not easily cease hostilities."
Akihito sighed softly and nodded, saying:
"Exactly."
"But Fusang and Yan are neighboring countries. Although there have been minor disputes over the past thousands of years, there have been no major conflicts between the two countries."
"Why did it have to come to this point of life and death? It's not in his best interest either!"
"Alas, it was only because we were reckless before that we got into a dispute with them at sea. In a moment of resentment, we sent troops to the East China Sea. But we have long since stopped sending people there."
"But why did it have to come to this?"
Mo Sang chuckled inwardly at Akihito's words, and he went straight to the point:
"Alright, there's no need to tell me all this. Wouldn't it be better if you went and said it to the people of Yan in person?"
Mosang's sarcasm left Akihito somewhat embarrassed, but fortunately, the ministers in the palace had already been dismissed by Akihito. He bowed and smiled apologetically:
"With the two countries at war, how can I possibly meet with the people of Yan?"
"Even if we send envoys to request a truce, the people of Yan will probably kill them with a single blow."
"But you are the representative of the Taqi Kingdom. With you going to mediate, the Yan Kingdom people should be able to listen."
Mo Sang slightly raised his chin and nodded, saying:
"Why don't you just tell me directly? Why beat around the bush with me?"
"How big is your country, Fusang? If you can't beat them, there's nothing you can do but submit. If Yan Kingdom doesn't listen, then you'll have no choice but to continue fighting."
"To be honest, it's because our national strength is too weak and our country is too small." Mingren stiffened as he listened, his last shred of dignity completely torn away by Mosang. But he couldn't refute it, nor did he dare to. He could only listen attentively.
Mosang glanced at him sideways and then said:
“Your Fusang and our Taqi Kingdom have been trading for several years, so we know each other quite well. Now that you are in trouble, we should lend you a hand.”
"It wouldn't be unreasonable for me to go and negotiate a truce with the Yan people."
"Our Tajik country still has a voice."
Akihito nodded repeatedly in agreement: "Yes, yes, General Mosang is right."
Mo Sang smiled faintly and continued:
“Our Tajik country has always had a cooperative relationship with your Fusang. As you know, our Tajik country has never interfered in the internal affairs of other countries.”
"In the years since we established diplomatic relations, I have never interfered, have I?"
Akihito shook his head. "That's absolutely not true."
Mosang smiled and nodded: "Yes, this is our Taqi Kingdom. Although powerful, we never bully the weak."
"We even proactively help the weak."
"In the continent of Liga, there used to be many small countries, but with our help, they have all become strong, and there is no longer any war between them."
Akihito smiled apologetically and kept agreeing.
“They are obedient enough,” Mossant added.
Akihito was slightly taken aback, but still nodded.
“There was once a tribe of natives on the continent of Liga. They were practically a bunch of savages, eating raw meat and drinking blood. You could even say they were uncivilized beasts. Do you know what happened to those people afterward?”
Akihito shook his head. "How is it?"
Mo Sang smiled slightly, "We helped them correct it."
Akihito said "Oh," and sighed, "That must have taken a lot of hard work."
"Yes, it took a lot of effort to help them."
“Although some of the natives were unhappy, we are ultimately satisfied with the outcome. Now, the remaining natives have all become friendly people,” Mosang said with a smile.
At this moment, Mingren had no interest in listening to Mosang's boasting about the past of the Taqi Kingdom, so he did not pay attention to this sentence. He was only concerned about the upcoming war and whether the Yan Kingdom could make peace, which was related to the survival of Fusang.
So he earnestly requested:
"Yes, General Mosang, I know Tajikistan very well."
"Now that our Fusang is facing an imminent war, we beg you to lend a helping hand and first stop the Yan Kingdom's invasion so that we can make peace with them!"
"Although we sent troops to the East China Sea earlier, they have now invaded our homeland of Fusang and killed many of our people. This has far exceeded the damage we have caused to Yan Kingdom."
"At this point, it's time for them to stop."
Mo Sang cleared his throat and hummed in agreement.
"That's right, that's exactly how it is."
“Our Tajik country cannot stand this kind of bullying. You are our friends, so naturally you should not be persecuted.”
“In that case, I will go and meet with the commander of the Yan Kingdom, and I will act as the mediator to resolve the dispute between your two countries.”
Mingren was overjoyed and immediately clasped his hands in thanks, saying, "Thank you! Thank you!"
Mo Sang then changed the subject, patting the bent-over Akihito on the shoulder and saying:
"However, our cooperation needs to be further strengthened in the future."
Akihito forced a smile and nodded.
Mosang laughed heartily: "Don't worry, you Fusang, a tiny country, our Taqi Kingdom won't covet your place."
Then, looking directly into Akihito's eyes, he said, word by word:
"Remember! We never interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, and we don't covet your small territory."
"All you need to do is obey."
"Yes, yes!" Mingren readily agreed.
"Alright, although I'm still very tired, I know you're anxious. Fine, let me take care of your business first, then I'll get some sleep." Mo Sang rubbed her sore eyes and continued:
