A basin of cold water was splashed on Jin Changge's face. When she opened her eyes, she saw Prince Qing's ashen face and Mai Lirui standing expressionlessly beside her.
"You beast! Do you know the enormity of your crime?!" Prince Qing roared angrily.
Jin Changge was completely bound by iron chains. She remained unmoved by the roar and simply stared coldly at the two of them.
A cold laugh rang out at that moment:
"It's a terrifying look in her eyes. That's the look I saw in her when we were on the ship."
"So young, yet so ruthless when it comes to killing. He even killed his own brother. It's unheard of." Mai Lirui tapped his cane and took two steps forward.
The next instant, there was a loud "bang".
Jin Changge moved forward, the iron chains clanging loudly as he struggled.
"You still want to kill someone?!" Prince Qing roared.
Mai Lirui raised his cane and struck Jin Changge in the face. Blood seeped from the corner of Jin Changge's mouth as he glared fiercely at Mai Lirui.
Seeing the murderous intent in her eyes, even the most composed person like Mai Lirui couldn't help but feel angry. On the ship, she had almost managed to assassinate him.
He almost died tonight. Enraged, Mai Lirui raised his cane and struck Jin Changge repeatedly.
Prince Qing watched coldly, his lips pressed tightly together, remaining silent.
Jin Changge was hit on the face several times, and the bloodstains that Jin Jiande had wiped away became bloodstained again. However, unlike before, this time the blood was his own.
Even so, Jin Changge gritted his teeth and remained silent.

Jin Changge suddenly opened his mouth and spat a mouthful of blood onto Prince Qing's face. Prince Qing was furious and raised his hand to slap him again, but in the end he did not.
"You bastard!"
"You don't deserve to be my daughter! Giving you a good death will be the best I can do for your mother!"
Upon hearing this, Mai Lirui understood, and he said in a deep voice:
"Your Highness, I will follow your arrangements."
"However, please allow me to witness the execution. My men are all furious."
Prince Qing nodded and said, "Rest assured, Sir Mai, I will have that beast executed along with those Red Tide rebels in the downtown area! I will show no mercy to a single one of them!"
"Let everyone see this as the consequence of me ruining my efforts to advance national affairs, so as to serve as a warning to others!"
Merriel was clearly satisfied with the answer. He turned and walked out, smiling as he said:

Prince Qing's face flushed red, and he pointed at Jin Changge, about to shout a curse, but Jin Changge continued:
